Triggers CSP Rated 2 out of 5 stars
It triggers a CSP error when the policy is something simple like `default-src 'self'`. Only when the policy is relaxed to `... 'unsafe-eval'` the error dissappears, but that's an undesirable policy for most sites. Also, we the users have no controler over what CSP a website defines.
Bloated, but good, and 1 suggestion Rated 4 out of 5 stars
By default, this plugin offers waaay too many gestures. This might seem like a good idea, but more gestures means it's easier to accidentally trigger an unintended one.
Suggestion: it's not currently possible to "start" a gesture from an inactive tab in order to close that one. Starting a gesture from anywhere but inside a webpage doesn't work in the first place, including my speeddail startpage (from another addon). Similarly it's also not possible to gesture on any dialog, say, to close it.
Where? Rated 1 out of 5 stars
So where is the button/menu to actually *take* a screenshot??
Where? Rated 2 out of 5 stars
Cannot figure out where it saves anything. Also no setting for it, and nothing in the description for it. It probably works fine, so its a sad thing that it fails on such a small issue.
Work, but not quite Rated 4 out of 5 stars
It works fine, except for one thing. The login isn't remembered. Every time Thunderbird is started (effectively once a day for me) I get two Google login screens (I assume once for calendar, and another for tasks, althouth it's the same account..)
Otherwise, good plugin.
Thanks for the quick response!
Seems to have worked. Let's see for how long, but for now, somehow, re-adding the calendar fixed it. I restarted TB and it doesn't ask for my login again. I'll increase my rating ;)
Works alright Rated 3 out of 5 stars
...On an old version of Thunderbird. So please update this add-on. It's probably an easy fix anyway.
Keeps refreshing Rated 3 out of 5 stars
It keeps refreshing for no reason, making it nearly impossible to expand any saved object. After some refreshes ALL properties in either webstorage object appears as being duplicated. Restart/reload doesn't amend the problem. I've got the latest&greatest stable Firefox and Firebug.
Almost Rated 4 out of 5 stars
Ctrl+J still opens the default downloads window. I'd expect it to open or focus the downloads tab.
Needs some more love Rated 3 out of 5 stars
The "Add engine to search bar" dialog shows up in the wrong place. I have firefox on my second screen, and the dialog shows up on the first. Placement of the dialog shows be similar to firefox's own dialogs, i.e. in the middle of the active Firefox window. And sometimes the window appears almost empty. Weird.
Secondly, After inputting a keyword, Enter or clicking OK doesn't dismiss the dialog. Instead, it silently adds it to the search engine list.
So the workflow is:
1) Right click
2) Select Add to Search Bar
3) Move my focus to my other screen
4) Type a keyword
5) Grab the mouse again
6) Click OK
7) Click Cancel
1) Right click
2) Select Add to Search Bar
3) Focus is at the "keyword" field, so type a keyword
4) Hit Enter, and be done.
Can you please provide a fix?
1080p solution Rated 4 out of 5 stars
Dear author, here's how to 1080p:
Download the audioless mp4 and aac audio files. Then:
ffmpeg -i foo.mp4 -i foo.aac -c copy -f mp4 result.mp4
See? It's not complicated at all. It's dead-easy actually.
No 1080p Rated 3 out of 5 stars
Works well, but no 1080p download. This review is for a previous version of the add-on (18.104.22.168-signed). This user has a previous review of this add-on.
No 1080p on YouTube Rated 3 out of 5 stars
Sorta works. The prefixes in the dropdown are useless. I have no way of knowing what half of them mean. Should simply be the same as in the quality menu when on youtube.
More importantly, 1080p downloads do not appear in the list at all.
Less importantly, clicking the button, not the dropdown, shows a list of all supported video sites. Not very useful as the "main action" for the button.
So, almost there. Give it some love.
Download progress Rated 3 out of 5 stars
Kinda works. Contains adware, the popup acts weird (please loose the animation) but above all: no download progress anywhere at all. Also bypasses Firefox's own download manager. Nasty. This review is for a previous version of the add-on (22.214.171.124-signed).
Doesn't work Rated 1 out of 5 stars
I can't see it doing anything at all. This review is for a previous version of the add-on (126.96.36.199-signed).
Works almost fine, but NOT in a private window Rated 3 out of 5 stars
Works, but NOT in a private window. Why not? Does it do something privacy sensetive? I sure hope not. This review is for a previous version of the add-on (0.1.2).
Initiate from tab Rated 4 out of 5 stars
Works fine. Just like Opera when it was still its own browser.
Please enable initiating a gesture from a tab, so a gesture applies to that tab. That way, the "close tab" gesture can be applied to an inactive tab.
Can't move window Rated 3 out of 5 stars
The plugin works alright, but not being able to move the Firefox window anymore is disappointing. By browser is not always full-screen, so this is quite an issue for me. Also, right-clicking does not pop up the default window menu (same as alt+space).
Another problem is that Ctrl/Shift + arrow buttons should remain at their default behaviour when a text input is selected, no matter what the options might be. Because when typing, one expects skipping/selecting whole words using Ctrl/Shift+arrows to work.
Doesn't work anymore Rated 2 out of 5 stars
Since some modern version of jQuery and/or Firebug, this plugin doesn't work. Yes, it shows data, but it's supposed to show events, too, which are much harder to get your hands on from the console.
Plus, the developer let out on his forum that he no longer develops this plugin.
Works, but needs some more love Rated 3 out of 5 stars
This works. Let that be clear. In the options, the Smaller and Larger buttons don't do anything. I'm not sure what they are supposed to do, but I don't see anything changing when I click them, so there's that.
Secondly, the progressbar in the statusbar constantly animates, which is distracting. Should be disabled.
Windows 7 x64, Thunderbird 24.2.0
@Developer: perhaps you can use the progressbar that's also on the Quota tab on the dialog you get when going Inbox->Properties. It looks different (purple in my case) and doesn't animate.
@Mozilla: don't remove newlines from my review please.
Works fine, looks weird Rated 3 out of 5 stars
The button works just fine and in the toolbar it looks fine. But in the context menu, when right-clicking a folder, it looks weird. It's displaced to the left as compared to the other items. This review is for a previous version of the add-on (0.5).
