My Reviews

Google Docs Viewer (PDF, DOCX, PPTX, XLSX, etc...)

Good, simple, clean layout Rated 4 out of 5 stars

Good, simple, clean layout.

MUCH better rendering of PDF images than my existing PDF viewer.

Not so good: "Download original" button reverts view to my existing PDF viewer, where the original file can be downloaded. Would improve the experience if clicking the download button accomplished the task without leaving the Google Docs Viewer.

PDF Plugin for Firefox on Mac OS X

Excellent. Simple and useful. Rated 4 out of 5 stars

Excellent. Simple and useful. Displays the pdf quickly.

Be sure to check the contextual menu (hover your cursor over the pdf document, press "control" key and click). The contextual menu allows you to download the pdf or open it directly into Preview (from where it can be saved as well).

As mentioned in a previous review, it would be useful to have a toolbar for basic functions. A rotate-view function would be an especially useful feature.

Excellent, Practical, Versatile Rated 4 out of 5 stars

Useful for signatures and any text you wish to save and quickly add to any email.

Improves on the outdated "Signature" add-on. Fast set up. Fast access to your signatures or any text you wish to save for further use. Quicktext toolbar is subtle and non-obtrusive.

I appreciate the ability to set the order of each "template" (saved text) in each “group” (drop-down list).

While Quicktext would benefit from font, style and text-size settings for each saved template, it is an excellent add-on. I expect to use it constantly.

Thanks, WizKid!
