Thunderbird Conversations

Rated 1 out of 5 stars

1) Incompatible with Enigmail
2) DID NOT revert the configuration changes it made when uninstalling
How can it be version 2.0.4? That's not even alpha quality...

This review is for a previous version of the add-on (2.0.4).

Display Mail User Agent

Rated 5 out of 5 stars

Seems to work fine with Thunderbird 5.0.

This review is for a previous version of the add-on (1.6.6).

Thundersomething

Rated 5 out of 5 stars

Seems to work nicely in Thunderbird 5.0.

This review is for a previous version of the add-on (1.0.1.1).

Tab Mix Plus

Rated 5 out of 5 stars

Seriously, some of the functionality of this add-on should be added into the core of Fx. Or at least Mozilla could try not to break that extension with every release, Fx is rubbish without it (particularly the custom tab width).

This review is for a previous version of the add-on (0.3.8.4).  This user has a previous review of this add-on.

Add-on Compatibility Reporter

Rated 1 out of 5 stars

I have the same kind of complain as johnjbarton. My extension isn't supposed to work on Fx 4.0 and I've got 20 useless reports about that (all made way after I realized the compatibility issue).

This review is for a previous version of the add-on (0.7.1-signed.1-signed).

Nightly Tester Tools

Rated 1 out of 5 stars

looks like my previous review got lost, and since I don't have a backup I'll just leave my rating this time...

This review is for a previous version of the add-on (3.1).

DuckDuckGo (HTTPS / SSL)

Rated 5 out of 5 stars

Just found out about this search engine by checking my stats and seeing a visitor coming from there. Looks quite promising and I like the focus on privacy. A bit like Scroogle, but without Google :)

Does work in Firefox 4 Rated 5 out of 5 stars

Awesome add-on that works perfectly fine with Firefox 4, as long as you disable the compatibility check (extensions.checkCompatibility.4.0, extensions.checkCompatibility.4.0b and/or extensions.checkCompatibility.4.0pre set to false).

WordReference Translator

Rated 4 out of 5 stars

Not that user-friendly, but works fine and still saves time. So I guess it deserves stars :)

This review is for a previous version of the add-on (1.4.1).

MicroFox for Firefox

Rated 4 out of 5 stars

Still great, yet Classic Compact is more compact, at least for the navigation bar (I didn't check everywhere but since the nav bar is the most annoying space waster, that's one of the aspects that mater the most to me).

This review is for a previous version of the add-on (1.8.50).

Wikipedia SSL

Rated 5 out of 5 stars

Good idea, I like browsing everything I can in SSL :)

Works fine on Firefox 3.6pre (Minefield). One of the most useful extensions...

Classic Compact

Rated 5 out of 5 stars

I works fine with 3.5, and decently on Minefield (3.6pre). But to enable it on Minefield, I need to enable it on 3.0 then run Minefield (the "use theme" button doesn't work, even though I forced compatibility and disabled compatibility checks)... not really great. Could you just mark it as compatible with 3.6pre? It contains a few glitches in 3.6, yet is good enough, and still much better than the default space-wasting theme.

This review is for a previous version of the add-on (3.0.9).

YesScript

Rated 5 out of 5 stars

Good idea, yet I think I'll stick with NoScript for the moment. But I'll keep that one in mind, NoScript can be annoying indeed, on websites where scripts come from tons of different domains.

This review is for a previous version of the add-on (1.6).

Policy Manager

Where is it?? Rated 1 out of 5 stars

I tried to configure my policies manuality but it failed (for some reason the variables I created in about:config were impossible to save). Thus I tried this extension, not really for the GUI but just in case it would manage to create the variables I couldn't create manually.
Well, the problem is, I searched in every possible menu (notably the Tools menu and the contextual menu), no link to the extension...

Tab Mix Plus

Rated 2 out of 5 stars

The "reload every" part doesn't work, but it forced me to disable my working ReloadEvery extension... A totally out-of-topic feature breaking my fav extension... not cool. When you leech someone else's extension into your own, please do it properly, at least...

This review is for a previous version of the add-on (0.3.7.3).

Yes popups

Copycat of my extension? Rated 1 out of 5 stars

Your about box is in violation of the original Yes Popups license, which states it is released under the GNU GPL version THREE (3) or later. Your about box says version 2.
Apart from that, is there anything new besides the hand cursor?

Thank you for rating the extension twice, oggologgo.
And thank you for this amazing review system which doesn't even give the opportunity to reply to reviews but gives everyone the opportunity to vote an unlimited number of times on the extension, Mozilla team. This is great web-developing work, I'm sure my 3-years old little nephew will be impressed... or maybe not.
Finally, in reply to famfamfam1, I'm sorry for ppl who appreciate the extension, but I get too much hostility from users *and* Mozilla reviewers (there *is* a 0.9.8 version, but it got refused because the reviewer couldn't handle it... this is not the first time an update is refused and I'm really fed up with that). And anyway, I don't see what more can be done (well, my ideal target was to have a key you would just hold to disable pop-up blocking, then when the key is released pop-ups would be blocked again, like on the good old Crazy Browser...). But you can still get the latest version on BabelZilla (it's a website for extension translators), here: http://www.babelzilla.org/forum/index.php?showtopic=2040
