Not working anymore on FF48 Rated 1 out of 5 stars
This was the most useful extension I've installed, but it's not working anymore on FF48 (sadly last update was March 2014!)
Great idea Rated 5 out of 5 stars
...and it works perfectly (Italian, French and English-US on my setup).I was trying to find a solution to this annoyance for a long time, but none get out of my mind. Testing all installed dictionary to find out the one with less errors is a clean and working idea that doesn't need TB architectural changes. Thank you.
Fix for TB 17 and previous not working versions Rated 5 out of 5 stars
Doesn't work on TB 17.0.6 too, but I suppose this bug it's not strictly related with TB version.
After a few testing I saw that the addin doesn't manage the winmail.dat attachment because of a missing entry into mimeTypes.rdf file.
To fix it:
- close all Thunderbird instances
- open your profile folder (on Windows press WIN+R, write %appdata% and press ENTER)
- make a backup copy of mimeTypes.rdf file
- open mimeTypes.rdf with your preferred text editor
- go to the end and paste this content ust before the last line (</RDF:RDF>)
Mail sent to developer.
Not working on TB 17.0.3 Rated 3 out of 5 stars
Not working here on TB 17.0.3.
Installed on 20+ PCs, both Windows XP and Windows 7 (x64) but none of them worked, still see only one winmail.dat attachment.
No way to file a bug on mozdev.org..., I'll send a mail to developer.
Thanks to chrnno Rated 4 out of 5 stars
@chrnno: thank you very much for your review. Your suggestion worked perfectly.
Anyway, there's no need to uninstall Brief; simply close Firefox, delete all brief* sql files from the profile (or rename them) and restart Firefox.
Does not work with FF17 Rated 3 out of 5 stars
Project seems dead: support forum doesn't work and latest versions (stable 1.6.2 and beta 1.7a1) don't work with FF17. All feeds are empty, even if the unread count near each feed's name is not zero. This review is for a previous version of the add-on (22.214.171.124-signed).
IMAP account support needed Rated 5 out of 5 stars
Could you please add IMAP accounts support to "Clean Accounts" option? Thanks for your work
EDIT: oops, I found it and it works... sorry!
Version 1.0.6 Rated 5 out of 5 stars
Version 1.0.6 is still in sandbox.
You can test it at your own risk...
