YouTube Downloader

This things installs Spigot Search Settings redirect malware. Usually comes with a persistent Yahoo Toolbar. My brother keeps downloading this particular one for some godforsaken reason and I don't want anyone else to have to deal with this crap. Please take it down.

Stop processes:
ApplicationUpdater.exe
SearchSettings.exe

Things that should be deleted:
%PROGRAMFILES%\Application Updater
%PROGRAMFILES%\Yahoo Toolbar
%PROGRAMFILES%\Common Files/Spigot
%APPDATA%\Search Settings
%APPDATA%\Yahoo Toolbar

EDIT: I'm sorry, but you don't have to explicitly be shoving viruses into this for it to be dangerous. You can look at your code for traces of viruses all you want, the fact remains that malware gets into people's systems through this, somehow. They do not get in without it, and a large amount of people are attributing it to this extension. For this reason, the possibility exists that the program might just be opening a security hole of some sort. This has happened on two systems my family has run. Installation procedure shouldn't matter as it's just a browser extension, which is just one click. I run Adblock Plus so ad-based security holes are likely not the problem, and video downloads couldn't be considered inherently malicious. I'm not sure what the problem is, but don't wave it away just because you can't find an explicit reason in your code.

Sorry, but for now, regardless of author's intent, I do advise against using this extension.
