Updates and Bug Reports Rated 5 out of 5 stars

@ AnnoyingRegistrations Please, for pity's sake, stop posting alarmist comments here and try reading things more carefully. Firstly, eXXile has clearly stated, in that article you link to, "..make use of the issue system to report bugs" and, right next to that statement, he provides a link to that github bug reporting system.

Secondly, his contact email address and twitter accounts, as given both on the website "contact" page http://firefox.exxile.net/contact/index.php and on this (AMO) site are still valid and you have been invited to use them.

Thirdly, eXXile has long ago said, in the forum, that he would not be developing AiOS further, but would be supporting it in new versions of Firefox until further notice..

See http://firefox.exxile.net/forum_new/viewtopic.php?p=199446#p199446

If you have a problem, please email him and/or report it through his github bug reporting system or twitter him instead of trolling this page which is not a forum and, still less, your scribbling book.

And, as for "Found this" .. Gosh, that really must have taken extensive research. everyone else just saw it when they went to look on the forum.

Site Problems Rated 5 out of 5 stars

@AnnoyingRegistrations: The forum is visible but locked because of huge amounts of spam (removed by eXXile) and criminals using the site systems to send spam to other, uninvolved victims. You can still contact eXXile by email (address on AiOS website and this site) and 'twitter' (handle given on this site) where you can also see further correspondence about such topics as this.

Shift-Delete Controller

ConfirmBeforeDelete Rated 5 out of 5 stars

You could try ConfirmBeforeDelete by klades (aka Kaosmos). Look for it or klades on Mozillazine forums for more details.

MyBookmarks

Livemarks in Folders Rated 4 out of 5 stars

Thank you for MyBookmarks which is a really helpful replacement for the defunct BookmarksHome. However, it would be much more useful if it could handle livemarks which have been placed in folders (including nested folders). Because it cannot do that at present, livemarks which one wants to appear in the display cannot be organised in folders.

Live HTTP Headers

Strange characters in FF3.0.11 Rated 4 out of 5 stars

For me, in FF3.0.11, Win XP SP2, LHTTPH version 0.15 shows a string of strange characters after each header string. Presumably same sort of problem as was fixed for FF3.5 still/now exists in FF3.0.11.

keywordManager

Provides a missing function Rated 4 out of 5 stars

keywordManager shows a complete list of all your bookmarks which have 'keywords' defined for them. Thus, without any fuss at all, it provides a facility which should certainly already be built into the FF native Bookmarks Organiser.

Three enhancements I would like to see are;

1) Right-click 'Organize Bookmarks' should focus that (keyworded) bookmark in the 'Organise Bookmarks' window.

2) Added 'Go to Parent Folder' in the Right-click (context) menu to open 'Bookmarks' window/sidebar focussed on that (keyworded) bookmark.

(In similar manner as, for example, 'Go Parent Folder' extension -
https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/7377 )

3) ..and, of course, an option to display the keyword list in the sidebar..

Patch For Library

Correct Version for FF3.0.6? Rated 3 out of 5 stars

Thanks very much for yet another very helpful aid.

Can you please make it clear; For Firefox 3.0.6 (Win XP), is it correct to apply Patch For Library version 5.4 and then keep updating or should I apply version 5.1 and then stick with that?

(FF version corrected to 3.0.6 2009/02/22_17:57)

ShowIP

Very useful Rated 4 out of 5 stars

A very useful extension for seeing/finding information about loaded pages. The extra information facilities available through the added servers are especially helpful.

I'm also including this report here because neither of your homepages seem to make it simple to do so there (I don't really want to register information with Mr. Google in order to talk to you).

ShowIP 0.8.14 (and previous version) shows a problem with its right-click (context) menu when also using the TotalToolbar extension (h t t p : / / totaltoolbar.mozdev . org /)

This is similar to that reported by NightWolf.KC for 'Organize Status Bar' but was not cured by ShowIP 0.8.14.

It can be circumvented by using double right-click instead of single right-click. Then the TotalToolbar context menu still appears but the ShowIP context menu appears on top of it and can be used.

No New Window on Double Click

Long Term Usaer Rated 4 out of 5 stars

I have been using this extension for so long I cannot remember when first. Certainly it has served without problems and done what it says throughout the life of TB 1.5.n and now on TB2.0.0.4 (All on Win XP Pro SP2, normally fully patched)

For everyday idiots like me, whose CNS stubbornly demands a double-click when only a single is required, it turns a potential constant self irritation into a minor slip.
