I was able to install version 1.5 into Thunderbird 6.0.1 today. Just extract the files, and modify the install.rdf file. I set the maxVersion to 7.0, and set the version to 1.5.W (for Wilbur!). Replace the install.rdf file in the .xpi package and install. Initial tests show it is working as expected! This user has a previous review of this add-on.
This has been a great extension that I use regularly. Currently it is not available in TB6, and I am really missing it! Great addition!
I went without this addon for weeks. Finally in desperation I returned to see if I could make this work, only to find out the change was intentional? Not communicated with install notice? Really?
If this major change needs to take place for Firefox 4, why not create a new version? There is a migration process in place, so people will find the new version.
Why continue to screw with people on this?
I had some issues with this add-on, but the alternate worked. Specifically, I was trying to exclude the sent folder. There was an option to exclude it here, but the add-on did not respect that setting.
Installed the alternate, and that worked.
Don't waste you time with this version the options in the Alternate are much better.
Great work on this add-on, it worked well. The original did not respect the sent folder option, but this one does. Great options, thanks for that! This review is for a previous version of the add-on (0.3.3).
I was using Colorpicker, but it no longer works with Ubuntu. I am really glad that I found Rainbow instead! It has a few more features and works great. I really like the interface, and the zoom area for selecting the pixel of color. Great! This review is for a previous version of the add-on (0.9.5).
I have moved to T3, and hope this addon does too!
I got it working, but it does lack any control over the process. The addon creates a new address book for each google account. I copied all my contacts into this address book and they did sync with Google. The only problem is that the addresses were truncated into only the first line of the address.
It seems that Zindus might be a more developed addon, which I will try next.
