I have been using a chrome .css file for many months now to get event boxes fully coloured like this add-on does, but each time I had to change/add/edit a category, it meant re-writing the .css file. This add-on now does it all for me. Brilliant !. I know there have been issues with un-categorised events, but as I categorise all my events, it wasn't an issue to me. I know it has a setting to alter shading on other months in month view, but is it possible to alter the background colour of the whole calendar ? I find the white background very harsh. A user-selectable background colour would make the whole calendar much more readable. Excellent add-on.This review is for a previous version of the add-on (4.0).
Excellent add-on and just what I needed. Ideally, I'd like a "plus 1 year" on the month view and this addon does it. A couple of small suggestions - 1) make the selected tab a bit more obvious, perhaps by giving it a different colour and 2) if you were to show months on the tabs as Jan, Feb, Mar rather than January, February, March etc then you would easily fit a full year's tabs in without needing to go to the slider. Even so, it still gets a 5 off me !This review is for a previous version of the add-on (1.1).
I have used this add-on for a couple of years now and contrary to some reviews, it really does work - or rather it did until I updated to TB13 / Lightning 1.5. Now I find that every entry on my Lightning calendar is Duplicated - i.e. I have two copies of every event on my Lightning Calendar but not on my Google calendar. Had it not been for this bug, it would be a 5-star review...This review is for a previous version of the add-on (0.13).
Just installed this add-on and it does exactly what it says in the tin. Well done for a first add-on ! A minor enhancement could be to make the selected tab stand out a bit more from the others (use a brighter colour perhaps.. on my system they are all exactly the same shade of grey..) One thing that TB doesn't have at all is a 'next year' & 'previous year' button, though it does have a next month & previous month button. Would it be possible to add tabs for +1 year & -1 year which would select the same selected month but either 1 year ago or one year in the future.. just a thought.. but well done anyway !This review is for a previous version of the add-on (1.2).
All I want is a simple clock in my status bar. I was using another add-on called 'simple clocks' but after having to reinstall I found that add-on was no longer available so I switched to Foxclocks 2.9.35. I first installed it in Thunderbird 12.0.1 and it works fine there - BUT it won't work right in Firefox 12.0 - it persistantly shows the wrong time for my timezone and whenever I try to update the time from the built-in time checker it does not update and returns an error. Just says "Error - try again later" . I cannot understand why it should work perfectly in Thunderbird 12.0.1 but not in Firefox 12.This review is for a previous version of the add-on (2.9.35).
Installed OK and works fine. Updated Firefox with each new version from as 4 to 10.0.2 now and it's worked with all of them with no problem. Only one little thing - I have it set to show day & night conditions for today and tomorrow but I get a strange character between conditions. It looks like a small square box with numbers 26 and 08 in it - is it some kind of unknown font character ? No idea how to fix it, but disappears if I set for only day or nght conditions each day. Str for both and it reappears. Other than that, it's fine. This review is for a previous version of the add-on (0.8.30).
