This addon works together with the addon provider for Google calendar. However today i removed both from my Thunderbird, because sometimes for no reason whatsoever appointments disappear.
They are still visible on google's calendar, and sometimes when i make a replacement appointment the missing appointment re-appears, but this is just not acceptable.
A pity, because i liked this addon.
Only shows the icon some of the time. On a page like http://marksmen.keenspot.com/, which does contain a link to a .rss, no icon is shown.
As for how it works: fine most of the time. Sometimes you get garbled text in firefox, when that happens clicking the mouse on the taskbar and then back to firefox fixes the problem. Unfortunately, i had to remove the plugin:
I used this plugin without any problems, using the latest version of firefox (3.6.13). I had my mouse and keyboard plugged into the usb hub of my monitor, a Dell. Then i upgraded my monitor to a NEC EA241, and promptly i got crashes and the BSOD SYSTEM_SERVICE_EXCEPTION.
It took me a few days, posting on a dutch pc forum and a program that analyses crashdump files to figure out that this plugin was responsible. The weird thing is, when i plugged my keyboard and mouse into my pc, i had no problems. When i plugged them into my monitor's usb hub, instant BSOD. I NEVER experienced this bug with my old monitor, either.....
I removed the plugin, and the problem seems to have gone away. I guess i will just be depending on my antivirus program and judicious scrutiny of email attachments from now on....
I just tested this with some dutch adresses, and it works at advertised for me.
@Fred: TLD doesnt matter, google.com and google.nl will return the same results for the same query. However you need to only select the adress information, without any labels.
