Mozilla Labs: Prospector - LessChrome HD

Location Bar appears when focused on the password input field Rated 3 out of 5 stars

Thanks to CN_Ricky for pointing out the issue. The location Bar (Awesome Bar) appears when focused on the password input field and, for me, it goes away after I make a dummy click. Then I can click on the Sign In or equivalent button. This is painful for the user. I guess that this may be a choice, by design, to make the user know where the user is, as a reminder, before entering the password. If so, this is good. However, the location bar should automatically go away, after sometime, before the user clicks on the Sign In or equivalent button.

Requires improvement Rated 3 out of 5 stars

The add-on works as mentioned. However, I look forward to lots of improvements.
On Firefox 5 beta, after installing this add-on, there is no response when clicked on Add-ons in the Menu. So now the only option is to use about:addons. Tab bar color (including App Tab) should indicate that I am in a secured site.

Mozilla Labs: Prospector - AwesomeBar HD

Long way to go Rated 1 out of 5 stars

The usability is very poor. There are too many choices in the AwesomeBar (i.e. URL bar) which appears cluttered. There are very few choices for customization. I cannot choose my own search plugins and assign keywords to search engines. I should not be forced to use a limited set of search plugins. After installing this add-on nothing happens when clicked on Add-ons in the Menu. Let us not copy Google Chrome with uninteresting modifications just to make it look different.

Open With

Rated 3 out of 5 stars

When Open With 4.1.0 is used in Firefox 4 RC (as well as in previous beta versions), on Windows 7, the "Open a new tab" icon appears twice in tab bar as shown in http://bit.ly/h4T9ZF.

The problem gets solved after disabling Open With 4.1.0 Firefox Add-On.
