This is a great addon to manage cookies behaviour, but I found this problem with exceptions:
When in "Global Settings for ON State", if cookies are accepted only for 1st site ('3rd party' option unchecked), then I cannot add any exception to accept _all cookies_ for a specific site. If I do, it will always work in "only for 1st site" mode...
I can't find any way to bypass that conflict, it's like the global option remained over the "accept exception" options. Could you check that options combination, please?
Anyway, I give 5 stars. This is an awesome addon.
Good idea but it needs more development.
Instead of managing only one tab it should deal with a complete list of undesired urls.
And with that list, having the option of whitelisting some specific urls would complete the concept of auto closing tabs.
So far, with only one url to work this is kind of useless.
I hope this addon get improved in the future.
Perfect addon with a nice interface. I use it all the time.
Although I miss the Autoscroll function of the old 'Cool Youtube Lyrics' addon and I'd like to see it working some day, I give it 5 stars.
Simple but working autofocus addon.
I just miss some whitelist settings to organize my rules, in case some sites defined any other autofocus rules that I might consider more useful.
So far I'm working with just one global wildcard as a rule for sites: * . And didn't find any bug.
0.8.0.10 version broke completely my Firefox 33 UI: all the buttons on the toolbar disappeared.
It was an awesome addon which made surfing the web a very pleasant task, but it's obvious that the author has discontinued the development or maybe they're not able to keep the Firefox Update pace to be updated.
A real shame.
I guess we'll have to find an alternative (I'm using Greasemonkey's 'Light Pager' script, but it's not as powerful as AutoPager...).
Love this addon, I've tried installing the last update which fix the CTRL+Enter issue and it works fine to me. It seems to be fixed BUT...
I also use the addon "Url Suffix" which let you define your own autocompletions with different shortcuts like CTRL+Enter, Shift+Enter, Alt+Enter and so on.
With Ctrl+Enter I have no problems now, but with Alt+Enter (which I use to add "www." + ".net") still doesn't work with this last update.
Could you review the code to let Alt and Shift keys work again in my Url Bar?
Since FF v.13 update, it doesn't work with any OS dependent player (Winamp, iTunes, Spotify, etc.). Only cross-platform (basically websites) players work now.
Great addon. One of my essentials since FF 1.3 (old times...). :-)
Just to let you know, the white-list was also not working for me at least in youtube. In my case I found the source of the problem in one of my Greasemonkey/Scriptish scripts: Youtube Center.
Changing one option of this script (Flash Mode) from "Clone" to "Src" solved the issue. Hope this may help somebody.
Surferby, you can install the official Firefox Addon "Add-on Compatibility Reporter 1.1": http://addons.mozilla.org/firefox/addon/add-on-compatibility-reporter/ With that you won't have to worry about compatibility errors with totally valid addons.
About "Screen Capture Elite", it has been very useful to me in many times. Maybe, as Surferby said, it should have a better version compatibilty control, now that Firefox policy consists on upgrading almost once a month (!).
Since Firefox 6 and still in 7 there are no options nor tabs nor windows to work with! It only appears a little window with three buttons: Accept, Restablish all and Cancel. My Firefox is FF 7 in spanish version. My OS: Windows 7 Home Premium. And Gui Config is version 1.2.This review is for a previous version of the add-on (1.2).
Works perfectly for me in Windows 7. It solves some problems I had with other similar addons.
With MinimizeToTray Plus I can minimize-when-closing Firefox in different ways: clicking on close button, closing the taskbar button with Right Mouse Button and also with Alt-F4 keystroke. All of them works great.
Clicking with the Right Mouse Button on the icon doesn't work for me. You could mention that in the comments of the addon. I want to Minimize with Close button, but then I just can't close the program because of this issue.
I'm using Firefox 3.5.7 and Windows 7 Home Premium. It also happened with Windows Vista.
Anyway, if you don't need the Right Mouse Button then this is a good addon.
At last, a good and working Tray extension for FF 3.x versions...
Thank you very much for the work, although it still misses the Alt+F4 or the Taskbar Right Click & Close recognition if "Minimize when close" option is enabled...
I wish you could fix that little bit issue. Anyway, the extension works quite fine right now.
Thank you very much! This issue was driving me crazy. I don't know how many times I've restarted Firefox trying whatever thing to solve it. Thanks! This review is for a previous version of the add-on (1.1).
