PwnYouTube still works. Use the web service at http://deturl.com/ or install the bookmarklet. This review is for a previous version of the add-on (1.5). This user has 2 previous reviews of this add-on.
Was a favorite of mine, but now no longer works. Please update. This review is for a previous version of the add-on (1.5). This user has other reviews of this add-on.
Disregard that last review; it seems I can't uninstall ANY of my add-ons, so the problem is most likely not with this. Sorry! This review is for a previous version of the add-on (2.0.1-signed). This user has a previous review of this add-on.
Good idea, but I don't really need it right now. For some reason, I am not able to uninstall it. Every time I choose to uninstall and restart, when Fx starts back up again, it says '1 new add-on installed' and this is still there. What the hell is that about?! Did you just create an add-on that automatically reinstalls itself so people can't get rid of it?!
Please get back to me immediately!
Thanks for the reply! Unfortunately, I can't even use the Stylish script you posted, because Stylish is not compatible w/ 3.1.* yet. What the hell! It's one of the biggest add-ons available and they can't give it a simple update?
So I guess I'm stuck waiting for you to add that functionality or at least until Stylish is updated. Once again, thanks for the support.
Seemed to work for a while, but now ghostery says Google Analytics, Adsense, and others are tracking me again! Is this just the companies disregarding the opt-out requests, and if so, is there any way to report them for it, like you can with a telemarketer? I appreciate any help you can give me.This review is for a previous version of the add-on (1.3.1).
I really love it, but I have discovered an issue after using it for a little while: the pop-up bubble in the lower left-hand corner (at least that's where I put it) is covered up by flash animations. This makes it not appear at all on flash sites like Grooveshark. A fix for this would really be appreciated. This review is for a previous version of the add-on (2.2.1).
Download Helper is bloated, buggy, unreliable, harder to use, and lower quality in general. The only unfortunate difference is that this only works for YouTube, and Download Helper works for ALL flash videos. But not a big deal for me.
I love it, and it is the only way to make Thunderbird match my Firefox (with Stratum Fusion theme), but is there a way to remove the glass from the statusbar? It looks strange to me.
Love it, but I have one problem:
When using the Personal Menu add-on, this theme changes the appearance of every toolbar button except the menu button, which does not match the theme and has no hover effects. Other dark themes like NNL work perfectly. Could you please update and fix this?
This add-on is one of my all-time favorites, but when I try to install it now, i get an error message saying that Firefox could not install the add-on because of invalid file hash. I noticed that the add-on was recently updated, so maybe this is the issue. This review is for a previous version of the add-on (0.9.7).
I love this add-on, but I would love it a lot more if you added an option to assign a custom favicon to app tabs that do not have their own. That would really help differentiate between multiple app tabs that would otherwise have the same generic icon. Then App Tabs would be absolutely perfect!
Great, but some of these are actually for Stylish, not GreaseMonkey. This review is for a previous version of the add-on (1.1.1).
Simpler than Tab Mix Plus, and compatible with a lot more add-ons, but I would like a FEW more features:
1) choosing the the URL that loads when opening a new tab.
2) overiding links that open in new windows.
3) A little more control over unread tab highlighting.
Those are the only things I really miss about TMP, and I don't like trying to piece those features together with a bunch of other buggy add-ons.
BTW: is the tab progress bar option the same as the add-on of the same name (from you)?
In response to developer reply:
What do you mean you don't offer alternate buttons? Under the section "Advanced Combinations for default theme Back/Forward buttons" you clearly list "***[Reload Stop Home Back/Forward = Firefox 3.7 buttons, black glyphs". Why offer these buttons in combinations but not by themselves?
(and that question about the home button was a total brain-fart, and I feel rediculous for having asked.)
Love the theme, but I have a nit to pick.
I know what you said in the FAQ about a button in the titlebar, but isn't that one of the coolest and most unique features of the FF4 mockups? Without it, I could pretty much duplicate Strata40 with an Aero Glass add-on (like your own AeroBuddy) and Combine Buttons. So why use this theme?
And if you don't plan on implementing a titlebar button, then please change the image on the Strata40 home page. It's misleading.
Regarding color selection:
Maybe it only changes colors for Aero-Glass. If that's the case, it probably won't work for XP, since Aero-Glass is a Vista/Win7 component.
Just a theory, as I use Win7 and do not have too much experience w/ Vista-Aero/MyFirefox since finding AeroBuddy.
This is the most amazing thing ever!
Unfortunately, I can easily duplicate the example combinations, but don't understand how to create my own. Can anyone help me w/ the following (if even possible):
-Combine go/reload/stop outside adress bar w/ black icons
-Combine throbber/identity box
-Remove home completely (I already have new tabs opening on my home page)
-FF3.7 back/forward buttons w/ black glyphs (no combinations)
Great idea! But will it work with AeroBuddy? I am not using a different theme, but I am concerned it will conflict with the aero glass effect. What about a version that uses the Windows 7 glass colors and retains the transparency? That would be awesome! This review is for a previous version of the add-on (126.96.36.199).
A great idea, but incompatible with my Status-bar Scientific Calculator add-on. I would like to use it, but since the calculator was the thing i wanted to move, it kind of defeats the purpose. I have deactivated this add-on with the hope that it will be updated and fully compatible soon. This review is for a previous version of the add-on (0.6.3).
