I'm using v2.x from the main
I've tried following the documentation there which
seems to be a confusion of
version 1.x / 2.x features.
There's supposed to be support for "Folders" which I haven't been able to get to work properly.
It seems far from intuitive or user friendly and nowhere near as simple and straightforward as speed dial by comparison.
Maybe Fast Dial is faster and more tightly written than Speed Dial by comparison, but, I'd hardly consider it intuitive or user friendly for my purposes.
And I'm not asking for
I installed v2.0 from the website. When first opened,
there's nothing in each screen and no information as to how to get anything added. Right click shows "Properties/Preferences" no help. There's no menu on mouseover to help. No options on the sidebar icon to be set. Double clicking on a window brings up the configuration. Nowhere is that mentioned - not even in the "About" info. Compared to "Speed Dial" FastDial's nearest rival. You can't create groups. I tried adding Speed Dial to the FastDial window. Didn't work. It's not quite
user friendly, intuitive or
nearly as friendly, versatile or configurable as Speed Dial by comparison.
Where the hell did my messages go?
Turned off Contacts List (separate add-on)
There they are.
Would be nice to have an on-off toggle.
Not nice to see messages DISAPPEAR from view.
It appeared as though my whole email system
had been co-opted by Lightning.
Nice looking. Bad behavior.
