No longer working properly with 50.1 - it is now. Rated 4 out of 5 stars
I have used this extension for a very long time. Mainly with very early versions of firefox and more recently with Palemoon.
I installed it and show profile extension with Firefox 50.1 and I can not view the bookmarks in the Bookmark manager. It shows some but any sub folders do not display any bookmarks and only shows the sub folder names without displaying any bookmarks contained in the sub folder.
It does seem to go to the folder but it's not much use when it stops the bookmarks working properly.
It's a pity because it was a useful extension when it worked.
[EDIT] Strangely, I disabled the show parent folder extension and restarted Firefox. Then the bookmarks which were not visible became visible and things worked as they should. I re-enabled the extension again and restarted Firefox and now everything is working. Go parent folder and show parent folder do need to be used together so both need to work. I did try restarting Firefox before disabling the extensions and that did not fix anything. I will keep an eye on it to see if there are any further problems.
Gone back to 184.108.40.206 Rated 5 out of 5 stars
I updated to 1.0.29 from 220.127.116.11 which is now more compatible with Palemoon v27.0.x. When using Palemoon v26.x any version above 18.104.22.168 would forget the entry in the search box when the Tab Hunter window was opened so I stuck with 22.214.171.124.
I updated to the most recent (v1.0.29) and the search is now remembered but every time I open the Tab Hunter window it searches for tabs and it is incredibly slow! 600+ tabs takes quite a while whereas 126.96.36.199 did it almost instantly and would only search when return was hit which worked much better and was much faster when the search did not need to be repeated. I use it to trim old repeated tabs which build up and having to re-search every time males it take far more time than I want.
My advice is stick to the older version which works fast and provides what you need providing that it works with your browser version.
Current version does not support Pale Moon Rated 3 out of 5 stars
Unfortunately, although the author mentions Pale Moon and supporting the PM browser, the current version does not install on the current PM version which when in Firefox compatibility mode displays Firefox 24.9, below the v26 that the current version requires. Older versions install but that means no updates for any newer PM versions.
I have tried disabling FF compatibility mode and it makes no difference to whether it will install.
While FF continues to ramp up version numbers seemingly by the day and Free Memory v2.0 supports them for anyone using PM they are stuck with no support for their browser.
Rated 4 out of 5 stars
It used to work quite well up until recently but I have run into problems where it would not select the page items to monitor.
Unfortunately for all fellow Palemoon users this will no longer work with PM because this extension no longer supports Palemoon as PM uses modified Firefox source code which declares it's compatibility as being v24.9.
That means a parting of the ways for Distill and Palemoon. :o(
Not Working very well at first but okay after restart Rated 5 out of 5 stars
Required a restart before it worked properly
Worked very well but not any longer - Quickly fixed by latest update Rated 5 out of 5 stars
Unfortunately Screengrab no longer works with PaleMoon 25.x. I have found that it stopped working after v0.97.24c because no button shows anywhere so it cannot be used. Selecting either the toolbar or addon bar for displaying the button and no button is displayed. Also no right click menu is visible after v0.97.24c.
Palemoon is available in portable versions and zip versions on the ftp site if you want to check for yourself. I'm just about to try the AVX x64 build.
v0.97.24c is working at the moment for Palemoon v25.1.0 but that is not ideal as the version number increases.
The reason for the delay is that I don't often upgrade my browser version and extensions with it so frequently breaking so many different things such as extensions etc. I have only just noticed which screengrab version works with the current Palemoon v25.1.0 which I have only very recently upgraded and only today noticed that screengrab is not working when I came to use it.
Thank you for the quick fix, I can confirm that it is all now working very well
An obscure bug Rated 4 out of 5 stars
I have been experiencing issues with the extension for a long time. It sometimes states that the dates are overlapping when they are not.
Check the Reminder Date Span (Start to End Date) with the selected 'Repeat' selection.
Start: October 18 2014
End: October 20 2017
Repeat Biweekly (Every other Saturday)
Remind daily until complete
I was attempting to edit a previous reminder to change the day/date, moving it back a day to the day before. Set for an advanced date. ReminderFox does not seem to like it.
Other than this it is excellent.
GMail broken Rated 4 out of 5 stars
3.4.1 stopped working with GMail and only checked and reported on one account with all the rest reporting no emails when I know that there are unread emails because they did show up a little earlier.
3.4.2 update makes no difference.
I'm using Palemoon 24.6.2 which is well behind the current FF version. No PM update done, GMail just stopped working with X-Notifier.
It seems that the problem is due to the inbox configuration. Emails which were unread showed as new mail but after setting up the promotional tab with unread emails in it, X-Notifier is no longer showing them as new unread mail.
Doesn't work in the UK like it says Rated 1 out of 5 stars
This doesn't seem to work in the UK like the information suggests. I cannot find any UK store which has any codes, eBay, Amazon, large department stores, nothing! There is no Market option for the UK in the options so it doesn't look like there is any support despite there claiming to be. I have tried it on USA stores and the browser bar did shows coupons available so the extension is working. Please fix the details so people don't waste time on extensions which are of no use in specific locations. This review is for a previous version of the add-on (188.8.131.52-signed.1-signed).
Useful for anyone with lots of extensions Rated 5 out of 5 stars
I've missed for a long time being able to export a list of extension names so that I know what I had installed. I used to use MR Tech Toolkit which enabled even more options that this extension provides but was quite a lot larger. For a more minimalist extension it does the job well.
Doesn't work with FF 11 Rated 4 out of 5 stars
As it is, Screen Capture Elite 184.108.40.206 doesn't work with Firefox 11. After upping the maxversion in the install file, it does work. Any extensions which can do this automatically at install should also work.
It does seem to work so far after limited testing.
A largely unused toolbar going to waste Rated 4 out of 5 stars
Why cannot KeeFox toolbar be used to contain the weather reports? I am sure that I have used it in the past. I did leave a review asking about making it work in a different location, although that might of been the menu bar.
I have the KeeFox toolbar which is very empty and it would be an ideal location having the weather on the right of it.
I'm using FF 3.6
Rated 3 out of 5 stars
The biggest problem with this extension for me is that when pasting to the search box, it does not show the text, it only searches for it. Therefore the same search or alteration of it cannot be done with another search engine. An older extension that I used with FF 3.5 did paste the text to the search box which worked far better for me.
I'm using FF 3.6.22
One Firefox working the other not Rated 4 out of 5 stars
Thanks, that works for one of my Firefox browsers but it was totally unnecessary for my other one. Both are Sandboxed separately and the script you mention after editing in the none working one made the FF WebMail work. In the other Sandboxed browser the script is as the original and that is still checking gmail successfully so this might start to explain why the developer missed this. The working browser with the unaltered script has only one gmail account setup whereas the other browser which required the script to be altered had many gmail accounts plus a few hotmail.
Suggestion Rated 5 out of 5 stars
How about putting the shortcut key on the options screen as a reminder. Putting it near the bottom of the options tab would be a useful place for it. ;) I keep forgetting the keys and keep having to search for them.Otherwise it's an excellent extension.
Information to BlueBerry938:
It does work like the pictures suggest. You can even watch a video to see how it works. Click the toolbar icon and the available emoticons will show in a sidebar where you can double click them to insert into the text area.
Or type the assigned shortcut into the text area and press the convert key (Ctrl+Shift+F) to replace the shortcut with the image.
It works perfectly and it's an excellent extension.

It used to work fairly well for me, but recently it has stopped and doesn't find anything at all. On many sites such as google search, it very rarely even show the toolbar. When it does show the toolbar saying it is searching for cheaper prices, it never finds any.
I think that this has only occurred since I updated to the latest version 3.1.5.

This is the first time I have used this extension. Previously I was using PasteandGo 3 which worked quite well.
This extension doesn't replace the text field when searching which is a bit annoying as it means the same search cannot be done with a different search engine if the clipboard gets overwritten.
PasteandGo 3 did do that.
There seems to be a few bugs Rated 4 out of 5 stars
I have just installed 0.8.6 and I'm getting a pop up error window every time the options page opens, this window open multiple times. Apart from that it is working okay.
[TypeError: doc.getElementById("rdoF") is null]
It did not do this on another Firefox browser using an earlier version of AniWeather.
The detect location also has a problem in the UK as already mentioned. It won't accept UK but does accept United Kingdom.

I have just updated to 0.8.3 and initially there was a problem with it removing my search bar which it was previously positioned just before on the Menu bar because it couldn't be put after the Search Bar. But after I changed the options to Menu Bar (Rightmost) it worked fine and finally put the reports where I had wanted them because before this update they weren't in an ideal position.Hopefully the minor bugs will be fixed with the positioning but overall this is a big improvement for usability reasons.
Here is a screenshot to show how I now have it positioned.http://www.imgbx.com/images.php/i2985_Aniweather.jpg

I cannot put the weather information where I would like it. It won't go on the end of the bookmarks toolbar or after the search which I have on the menu toolbar after the menus. Those are the only two places where it would fit well. The status bar is the only place where it will work but that means it cuts off any URL display which is a higher priority in my book.
If the positioning was better it would be far more usable.
