SimilarWeb - Website Traffic Sources and Ranking

Rated 3 out of 5 stars

If you are wondering why your FF takes so long to load try disabling SimilarWeb. Although I love the features, I love that Chrome loads instantly and FF almost instantly even with 30 addons - without this one. So to the developers please streamline the code.

This review is for a previous version of the add-on (1.2.06).

TabGroups Manager

Essential addon Rated 5 out of 5 stars

Excellent features - and not just for tab power users. Very useful to hide tabs. Use in conjunction with Mouse Gestures Redox to show/hide the TabGroups Manager tab bar.

Mouse Gestures Redox

Rated 5 out of 5 stars

Wow - what a professional extension. The author's description is too brief to do it justice. For example, you can -

add new script for gestures to do whatever you want.

see all your gestures in the sidebar.

do diagonal gestures (I had to set the diagonal tolerance to 75%)

The website is excellent - here you can find new scripts, request scripts, and get help.

If you use CustomButtons2 you can replace a button with a gesture by copying the script. Or go to Custombuttons2 website to get more scripts.

Thank you Jochen. I hope you can update the extension here in the future - I almost missed it.

2 Pane Bookmarks

Rated 5 out of 5 stars

Keeping the selected bookmarks in a separate pane from the folders makes the bookmark sidebar panel surprisingly easier on the eyes. Also no need to collapse folders any more - click on the next folder and the bookmarks of the previous one are replaced in the bookmark pane. Thank you Piro.

Tab History Menu

Rated 5 out of 5 stars

This addon combined with mouse gestures for back/forward navigation does away with the need for the navigation buttons - thank you!

My only gripe - the history menu should only show up when needed. I've installed 2.1.1 and that solves the problem when middle and right clicking. Now if you can put a time delay when dragging and double clicking.

Or have an option for showing the history on double clicking the tab - what do I substitute if(event.button !== 0) with for dblclick?

Liquid Tabs

Rated 5 out of 5 stars

Wow - Firefox needs animations to make it feel more polished. Now if you could animate the tabs when moving them around....

FireGestures

Rated 5 out of 5 stars

FireGestures helps to keep Firefox simple - uncluttered menu bars and context menus - because some things are just more conveniently done with a gesture.

This review is for a previous version of the add-on (1.5.6).

Custom Buttons²

Rated 5 out of 5 stars

An essential addon. I prefer to have a few functions more easily assessable than they are in the context menu, so buttons are a good way of doing it.

My only gripe is the long context menu when right clicking a button - some folks are quite simple and will never use all those options. Luckily I managed to slim it down.

Load Tabs Progressively

Rated 5 out of 5 stars

Just what I needed for a slow internet connection. Now I can click as many links as I like and only a few will load at a time. Great! Thank you!

foxiFrame basic

Rated 5 out of 5 stars

Great job! Please make it compatible with AIOS in full-screen and if possible reduce the top border to 1 px in full-screen. Thanks.

Great job! Thanks. Is it possible to have it compatible with the AIOS in fullscreen? And can the top window border be reduced yo 1 px in fullscreen?

Fox Splitter (formerly Split Browser)

Rated 5 out of 5 stars

This is great for wide screens. Split the screen to follow the cricket on one side and use the rest of the screen to continue browsing normally with tabs. I'd recommend using it with the Tabs On Top extension to avoid squashing the tabs to one side of the screen.

This is great for wide screens. I can split the screen to follow the cricket on one side and use the rest of the screen to continue browsing with tabs. It's best combined with "tabs on top" extension to avoid squashing the tabs up onto one side of the screen.

Tabs on top

Rated 5 out of 5 stars

Works smoothly. No conflicts with 50+ addons. Added benefit -tabs no longer get squashed up when using the side bar.

AFOM - Memory Recovery & Retention For Firefox Only

Rated 5 out of 5 stars

Does the job - it should be part of FF.
