XMarks has completely failed since about a month ago. It keeps launching login popups (I've had 20-30 open at once!) then posts error messages. It's a big shame because it worked fine for years. LastPass (same stable) is also in 3-wheeler mode, so I can only imagine that the geeks at LastPass/XMarks/LogMeIn (the parent co.) have left for greener pastures. I've been very patient but I'm now exploring alternatives.
The second star is for the years it worked well.

Several sites still get through & force switch to their tab although this is not my choice in FF Options. How come?
Still, it's free & a LOT better than nothing.
Doesn't work in FF54..? Rated 2 out of 5 stars
FireFox 54.0.1, Windows10
Voice enabled, Select text & right-click, select "Read text", two buttons "Pause" & "Stop" appear, but there's no sound. I can click Pause & Play, still no sound.
I tested the STT voice preview & it works, but not with the Add-On.
Excellent Rated 5 out of 5 stars
This tool requires a little time in testing & getting used to, but it's worth it as I now have it set up to archive all my mails into readable .eml files (along with a searchable index) in a separate folder on a different disk to my TB mail disk.
My only suggestion would be to offer a Help manual (link from the menu?).
Many duplicates ignored, needs more settings Rated 5 out of 5 stars
I use this because it helps & the idea is right, but I have a lot of duplicates that it doesn't find.
I cannot find any differences but there must be some, such as a few seconds difference in Received time(?) but there's no way to set any "ignore" criteria like in C-Cleaner's Duplicate (Files) Finder.
Great once you know how it works Rated 5 out of 5 stars
This is the best, if not the only proper mail archiving app out there, apparently. Works great, sometimes, but I find I have to try various options every time before hitting on the simple list of emails I can just open & read, outside of TB (.eml).
My problem now is that the index file doesn't write for large folders (e.g. one of 2700 mails, one of 70 mails does write). It is created but it's an empty file (0 bits). I can export an index file separately, on its own, but without the links, which defeats the purpose.
I really need this so I can find a mail quickly (email dates of course don't write to the File Explorer menu). Is there a max number of links it can write to index? Or a max file size?
***Edit: It seems the index file doesn't write when there are emoticons in any email subject.
Gone downhill - Why change a good thing? Rated 2 out of 5 stars
The previous version of DownloadHelper was great! A reference even.
Then it was "upgraded" (I have 5.2.0) & went to pot! It doesn't even make sense any more. The developer thinks a competitor is writing the reviews? It's more like some rival sabotaged the tool itself.
I really need to find a decent alternative now - unless it's possible to downgrade?
Another casualty of greed on the side of the road of good ideas, but clears the way for someone else to step in (I haven't even searched as yet, but as with any new vacuum...).
Pleasantly surprised - Agréablement surpris ! Rated 5 out of 5 stars
Although the texts & instructions can be improved (in English & French, at least) this tool is just what I was looking for! "Export all messages to folder" creates a html index in the directory of my choice, where I can easily find a specific mail & open it from the adjacent folder. 5 years of mails organised, archived & easily accessible!
Professional file delivery for business++ Rated 5 out of 5 stars
I thought hubiC was as good as it could get, then I discovered this plugin! Professional & efficient delivery of files to clients.
I would like to see a way of editing (or removing) the heading (e.g. in different languages according to recipient), and it would be good to be able to see the upload status like the sync status in the hubiC module. But maybe I just haven't seen it.
No Tracking! Rated 5 out of 5 stars
And neutral searches! What Google & co. sold their tool on right at the beginning. Now they are all PRISM stooges (along with Yahoo, Bing/MS, AOL or whatever's left of it, Facebook, etc.).
AdBlock blocked? Rated 5 out of 5 stars
Every time I start FireFox, AdBlock is there in name only: Options gives a blank page & ads are all over the place. I have to install it again & it works fine - until I start FireFox next time, when it's disappeared agaiin! This review is for a previous version of the add-on (18.104.22.168-signed). Not needed? Rated 2 out of 5 stars
I don't understand why I need this to sync Google calendar & Lightning. I can put the GCal link in "New Calendar"... can't I? (I haven't tried Provider so rating 2* as I can't "not" rate!)I used this tip: http://www.google.com/support/calendar/bin/answer.py?answer=99358#sunbird to install the Google CalDav in Lightning & it seems to be working fine in both directions. That said, Instructions, Help, config etc., in Lightning AND Google calendar are a total mess. It took me over an hour to find the above, which stipulates that it must be a https address, but other tips send you to the xml / ical / http addresses (all http). Maybe above link is for DavCal only? What's the difference between DavCal & iCal? ...&xml & html..?All I know is my calendar works across my 2 PCs, in TB and on the Google calendar site. Without Provider. (And if I used OldeCrow's 5-min rule I'd still be in 1980 ;-))This review is for a previous version of the add-on (0.7.1).
BACKUP!! Rated 3 out of 5 stars
BACKUP YOUR BOOKMARKS REGULARLY!!
After a few years of fine service, Xmarks has just gone & wiped my bookmarks & replaced them with an ancient old set from my IE. Years of work, contacts, tips etc. down the drain!
Blocks RSS Rated 4 out of 5 stars
AdBlock blocks my RSS feeds, which is a pain. It's also not cool to know that it blocks MY blog feeds from my followers' web pages. Display can be allowed for individual sites, but you need to realise first that something's missing & that it's AdBlock that's doing it!This review is for a previous version of the add-on (1.2.1). This user has other reviews of this add-on.

Can't believe TB3 has made this unavailable!
That's not UPgrade, it's DOWNgrade.
Back to TB2 then and it' improvements on TB3.
5* for Send Later, 1* for TB3.
And TB3?? Rated 5 out of 5 stars
This function is absolutely crucial and should be cemented into TB for all time!
I WILL NOT upgrade TB as long as this does not travel with the upgrade.
EXPORT FIRST! Rated 5 out of 5 stars
Always, ALWAYS, export your bookmarks before updating! Just in case. (I learned the hard way).
It takes a few seconds. If the Update messes up & loses them, you can import them again. Another few seconds.
Otherwise, I'm finding it very useful - I have it on my home & work PCs & my laptop on the other side of the world, & they all have my latest bookmarks in perfect order.
FF 2 OK Rated 5 out of 5 stars
It works fine on my FF 22.214.171.124.
Very good. For some sites you have to disable it for full access, bute it's easy to just disable/enable if & when.

I DON'T WANT "seamlessly integrates"!!
I never authorized a menu addition of delicious.
How do I unseamlessly remove it??
