Works really well at finding bad bookmarks. However, I have three suggestions:
1. Make the report window resizable. This would reduce the need to scroll so much.
2. Make the column headings in the report window resizable too (after making the report window resizable). This would allow more information to show.
3. Add a location column. I arrange my bookmarks in folders and subfolders. Finding a bad bookmarks is still pretty difficult. I know I can delete a bad bookmark without having to search it down, but this would still be a useful feature to have.
The icon got moved to the default location and was a little hard to find, but I changed that to where I like it. This extension seems to be working fine again. And I like the new interface. Only problem I ran into was that the settings window needs a close button, but hitting Escape closes it too. This review is for a previous version of the add-on (5.0.1). After installing this extension, I was instructed to open the options menu. I did this, and the tab which told me to do so instantly forwarded me to the "MySearch-Engine.com" website, which got blocked by another of my extensions and only displayed a blank page. Since I just suffered through removing this search engine hijacker from a relative's computer, I can categorically recommend that you stay away from this extension. To the developer, SHAME ON YOU! To Mozilla, you need to keep a better eye on the extensions you list.
Excellent, just what I was looking for. Keeps the good, deletes the rest. Does what it says it will and although very easy to use, has many options. This review is for a previous version of the add-on (1.8.1).
Great extension. Just be aware that there are some YouTube videos that you will be unable to download no matter which extension you use. You can attribute this to copyright issues most likely. There's probably some option that an uploader has to block all downloading. This review is for a previous version of the add-on (2.3.6).
Very nice! Great to have a replacement for Extension List Dumper. Just wish it didn't have that flower background. Kind of distracting. This review is for a previous version of the add-on (0.1).
Might be a conflict with another extension, but once there is any activity it keeps indicating that there's activity even if there isn't. I'm using Firefox 29 with Classic Theme Restorer. Moved throbber to menu bar. This review is for a previous version of the add-on (1.0).
Neat extension, but from what I can tell it doesn't work with Firefox 29 because Mozilla has done away with the throbber in that version.
Thanks very much for this extension. I have over 800 bookmarks, all carefully arranged in folders and subfolders. Sometimes I just want to know where a link is in that heirarchy and Firefox, AFAIK, doesn't allow you to find that information. This extension makes it possible to do this. You simply type a key word into the search field which the extension adds to the bookmarks sidebar, and then right click on the result you want to find. VOILA! The location in your bookmarks list instantly opens. The only reason I didn't give it a five star rating is that it would be nice if there was instead a button you could click on and which would accomplish the same thing as right clicking on a result. That's because I probably will forget the right-click trick by the next time I use this extension. Regardless, it really helped me today, so thanks very much! This review is for a previous version of the add-on (1.9).
Works perfectly. Restored "I feel lucky" to the location field. I'm using XP MCE SP3. Should mention that I have the keyword.URL entry in about:config set to where it's supposed to go. Many thanks! This fixes a feature I really like. This review is for a previous version of the add-on (0.3.0).
The best extension for dealing with Flash content on a page. However, with FF22, it quit shutting off the Flash elements instantly. Now you have to recycle the page. At least on my system. This review is for a previous version of the add-on (0.9.3).
Just installed it in FF 20.0. Works exactly as advertised. Many thanks to the developer as this takes care of the Google redirect nonsense which has bothered me for some time now. However, as another reviewer mentioned, it does slow down Google Image search very much. I hope the developer can fix this problem. This review is for a previous version of the add-on (0.5).
I am *extremely* disappointed that this extension no longer works in Firefox. Without it, Firefox is no better than IE or Chrome. Seriously. This extension "made" the browser. FF programmers should incorporate the thing *in its entirety* into FF (allowing that the extension author agrees to this, of course.)This review is for a previous version of the add-on (0.4.0.3).
Great extension, but for some time now I, and others, have been noticing that the columns selected for the (for lack of a better term) message listings pane *resets* to the default columns every time I restart TB. I have disabled this extension and notice that the problem stops. I reactivate the extension and the problem resumes. I would have been glad to discuss this in a forum dedicated to this extension, but was unable to find one. This review is for a previous version of the add-on (1.1.4).
This extension no longer works at all in Thunderbird at ver. 11.0.1. If this extension is still being maintained, it would be nice if the author would update it.This review is for a previous version of the add-on (2.0.2). This user has a previous review of this add-on.
I do NOT allow the addition of toolbars by ANYBODY or ANYTHING! Since the author has chosen to install a toolbar without my permission, I have made MY choice to REMOVE this extension. My advice is to not install this extension on your system. To the author: bad thinking on your part. Over and OUT!This review is for a previous version of the add-on (12.8).
If you use Craigslist, this extension is a must have. And as for the criticism that it's hard or impossible to remove, that didn't hold true for me at all. I removed it a little while ago and then, after verifying that the removal had succeeded, reinstalled it. I had no problems doing the removal and reinstall.
I *would* however, like to know how to easily reset it so that all removed ads show again (until I remove them again) rather than having to do them one at a time. That's my only criticism for this otherwise fine extension.
I'm giving this extension one star simply because of the advertising shown on the menu. When you click on the icon in the lower right corner of Firefox, you see "Free & Fast Online Translator" and the trashy "Scan Your PC For Free". Even though this extension does what it says, the advertising is TOTALLY unacceptable. We don't need this precedent. Avoid this extension in protest. This review is for a previous version of the add-on (0.56).
The filters don't work with "Google Instant". You have to turn that feature off in Google's "Search Settings" to get the filters to block anything. Other than that, this is a good extension. This review is for a previous version of the add-on (0.78.2).
