My Reviews

Zindus

Rated 2 out of 5 stars

If you have a contact with lots of email addresses (e.g., more than 2 addresses under "other"), this extension only syncs two addresses. This is really bad because there is no indication of this. Displaying no indication is effectively data lossage. When this happens, there really needs to be some kind of optional, in-your-face warning that this has occurred, as data lossage in contact data is 100% unacceptable.

Multiproxy Switch

Rated 4 out of 5 stars

Is multiproxy doing anything weird with the "localhost" name? I have a localhost proxy (ssh), and the "localhost" name works fine with the standard FF proxy dialog box. However, if I use multiproxy, the "localhost" name doesn't work, and I have to enter "127.0.0.1", instead (note that this is for the proxy server name, and not for the "no proxy for" hosts list).

Desktop

Nice, but experimental Rated 3 out of 5 stars

Nice extension, but it does have rough edges. One issue is that the thumbnail snapshot delay needs to be adjustable. For me, trying to make a thumbnail of my gmail page usually results in a blank thumbnail, as the gmail webpage seems to update via callbacks/ajax calls, and the thumbnail snapshot is taken too early (the javascript hasn't yet created the page). However, this is to be expected, as it is, after all, an "experimental" extension.
