Very good addon with very dedicate developer(s). I had the display issue with TB 10 (as described in https://www.mozdev.org/bugs/show_bug.cgi?id=24643) and found that it was corrected in less than a day. Good jobThis review is for a previous version of the add-on (2.9.4).
Very good addon. Focus on which account you are using. (color in folder list makes it easier to identify accounts).
Have an issue with it as (on Thunderbird/Shredder 3.3a4 on windows) the status bar text disappears. Hovering a link on a email does not show the result in the status bar (also folder info from the Nostalgy addon does not show).
From the review of HekMek, (where he mentions no text on hovering buttons) this might not be just due to Shredder.
Good work nonetheless
Very good extension that has made a great leap on 2.0alpha. However the use of Conversation view disables addons that change the header (like Display Mail User Agent and Display Conctact Photo).
Could be interesting to work correctly with them (the display contact photo could be used to put the photo on the current avatar pic).
All the best
I do like this addon and have been using it a long time. Unfortunately there seems to be a problem with the Thunderbird Conversations addon (I'm using version 1.1.2 (Gmail conversation view) on Thunder 3.1.7).
After starting Thunderbird DispMUA works fine when changing messages (displaying the correct MUA). But after choosing a message that has a thread associated (that Gmail conversation view displays as a Gmail conversation), DispMUA will always show the same icon for every message regardless of MUA. Hoovering the icon will produce the correct MUA string. Double clicking the icon also, but the icon on the message will not change.
Thank you for the great addon and continuous development.
This is definitively a must for thunderbird. Well doneThis review is for a previous version of the add-on (0.2.26). This user has a previous review of this add-on.
Good addon. The override compatibility is on Tools/Nightly Tester Tools/Force Addon Compatibility
It then sets it for all addons. No longer the per-addon option.
I also only wanted for this, unfortunately Compatibility Reporter (https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/thunderbird/addon/15003/) is not compatible with Thunderbird 3.3a :(
Thank you for the update. Was using ff 4pre8 and terribly missing this addon. This review is for a previous version of the add-on (0.78.2).
Good addon, for those that want to control all the cookies being laid around. I agree with the need for a taskbar icon as I've hidden the status bar. I know the context menu gives the options, but would prefer an icon on the taskbar.
thank you for the addon.
One of the greatest time savers. This review is for a previous version of the add-on (0.2.23).
Very good addon. Had a problem when installing in Windows 64 bit. But it was related to convert and ghostscript. The solution is here http://www.imagemagick.org/discourse-server/viewtopic.php?f=3&t=15056&p=52937&hilit=gswin32c#p52945
(I used the 64b versions of both)
Superb theme. Everything is themed...This review is for a previous version of the add-on (1.1.0).
Wonderful for kidsThis review is for a previous version of the add-on (3.4).
Good time-saver application for people that send pages to friends/colleagues/etc.This review is for a previous version of the add-on (2.2.6).
Although not supporting (in the downloaded version) the latest firefox, I always do the hack on the install.rdf to get it to the latest. And it's working so far.
Very good. One to have, more so since the support for currency. This review is for a previous version of the add-on (0.8.5).
Superb theme. Everything thought ofThis review is for a previous version of the add-on (1.1.0_b3).
Being using it along time... Quite goodThis review is for a previous version of the add-on (0.3.7.3).
Clean, splendid without being too "loud". Redesigns many bits of firefox (thunderbird version is also a must). This review is for a previous version of the add-on (1.1.0_b3).
The slowdown of firefox seems to be related with the hostperm.1 size. A parsing issue??? See http://forums.spybot.info/showthread.php?p=132456 for a discussion. The new CookieSafe Lite stated before http://forum.softwareblaze.com/viewtopic.php?p=501 seems to mitigate the problem from Spybot, thus perhaps has an optimized parsing.
I found this addon useful to see the status of the privacy for the current site, change it and even clear the cookies. The slowdown is in fact a problem.
This a great extension and I have been eagerly waiting for its update to tb 2.0b.
Having said that...
There seems to be some conflict with Quickfile https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/thunderbird/addon/348
When both extensions are enabled:
- some menus' text disappear (File does not appear, nor its sub-menus)
- shortcuts keys are changed (doing CTRL-A instead of selecting all deletes the current message; other shortcuts (R) do the same deletion).
I'm using several IMAP accounts, and this behaviour happens on them.
GmailUI is 0.6
QuickFile is 0.17.0.0011
Thunderbird 2.0b2 on Windows XP
Again thanks for a great extension
