Excellent tab extension, thank you. Is it possible to prevent the browser from closing (with an extra warning) when there are protected and locked tabs present? This review is for a previous version of the add-on (1.5.27).
Well done, Mr. Liu. Fastest Search does so much in the most elegant way. New users might be confused or even annoyed by the SearchBox (which can be disabled), but they'll soon discover its power.
Two requests: an option to disable the dragging trail line, and an option to open new tabs (with dragging) next to the newest tab, not the currently active. If I create a new tab and then another one, I'd want all new tabs to the (far) right and not in between.
Thanks for your amazing extension, everyone should get it.
Great idea and implementation, can be a life-saver at times. My only issue being that the status bar icon cannot be moved around freely, it is locked. I refer to the icon controlled by the "General Setting" option, not the permanent one (with the arrow) that can be moved.
update March 27: thanks for the reply below but as I mention, that is not possible with Textarea Cache.
Very nice indeed. Is it possible to put it to the left of the search bar? Even better perhaps, to make it independent of the search bar.
Elegant and useful, thanks a lot.
Fantastic, eyesight-saving add-on. Just one question, why I can't I move around the status bar icon? (with right-click/customize)It seems to be locked.
Lightweight and working - what more to ask?
Simple, elegant, non-cloud... great extension & finely executed - thank you. All too often we wander around the net with no reason... now we can easily save the interesting stuff and focus on them alone.
This is a really nice theme, thank you. A question: is it possible to have the theme also applied to messages? (and message previews). The white (or any other colour) monochrome background kind of ruins it.This review is for a previous version of the add-on (2.0.21).
Fantastic add-on, essential for FB users. Author updates it frequently on his website and is quick to respond to issues (which are mostly caused by Facebook's constant, annoying changes). Thumbs up and donation-worthy.This review is for a previous version of the add-on (8.8.2).
Very nice and helpful. I do not see the (with preview) context entry though, no matter what I set in the options. Using Pale Moon 20.0.1 x64.
Didn't find a way to reply (other than adding a new review which seemed wrong) so I deleted the previous review and write a new one quoting the messages. I think it would be a good idea to disable the auto-sort right after install. Don't know if it's possible, but a good idea would be to have a pop-up window right after installation, asking the user what to do, and THEN begin with auto-sort. Also, it is not clear when and how often the auto-sort occurs (On every startup? After adding a new bookmark?). I think you should clarify that somewhere. Thanks."It works as intended. After installation, you have the option to include the Bookmarks Toolbar to the auto-sorting or not. The problem is that it has already auto-sorted it (messing up your custom sorting), so it's good to have a backup ready for restoration (also available in the bookmarkbackups folder)"Author's reply: "Do you propose to disable the auto-sorting option? In the first version of this extension, this option was disabled. In your opinion, what options should be disabled at the install? Thanks for your feedback."This review is for a previous version of the add-on (1.2).
Thanks a lot. I'd really like a "create TinyURL for the current page" option.
Thanks, a nicely done add-on. I like the icon-only (minimal) view I see in the screenshots for the left column but I can't seem to get it. Tried all styles but the text is always there (Get Add-ons, Extensions etc.), next to the icons. I'm using Pale Moon x64 but same problem with Firefox. This review is for a previous version of the add-on (6.0).
Nice one, but you should create a search bar as well.
Works great, removed 1 star because of 64-bit incompatibility. I did find the .dll fix though on your support site and it works just fine on Pale Moon x64. It'd be nice if you provided a working version without the need of .dll replacing. This review is for a previous version of the add-on (126.96.36.199).
Thanks for this excellent add-on! It seems it needs to be manually enabled quite often. Searched a bit but couldn't find an answer: is it possible to always keep it on?
Excellent as always, but lately it just won't work in the google results page, with google instant enabled. Using Win 7 x64 - also tried v.1.1.6 beta 3. Not sure what's going on.This user has 2 previous reviews of this add-on.
Love this, but it is frustrating to search for updates in non-english forums etc. Please update this great add-on for Firefox 6. (very annoying decision from Mozilla to change version numbers like that)This user has other reviews of this add-on.
I've tried other 'drag' add-ons, but found them slow and unresponsive. When dragging a link, the new tab delayed to open (or didn't open at all) just enough to be noticeable and annoying. Easy DragToGo always opened tabs instantly, and I was disappointed it didn't work in FF4... until I found this. I don't understand why the old add-on isn't updated and a new one has to be created, but since it works, that's fine! (not 5-star for the FF4 update troubles, although I don't know the cause).
