Excellent Rated 5 out of 5 stars
REF: ThunderbirdBird 29.0
This add on is effective, and very simple to install and utilize. My need is related to providing instruction in part via printed screenshots, in which standard font is virtually unreadable without a magnifying glass. This add-on does the job perfectly, and is quickly and easily switched from standard to magnified and back. Thank you!
Working again Rated 5 out of 5 stars
Okay, I was quite angry some days ago because a program update destroyed nearly everything in Firefox (and could not be reverted) but the new version works with Firefox 44, icon is back again too etc, thanks for thisThis user has a previous review of this add-on.
Great it's working again on 44 Rated 5 out of 5 stars
I was wondering how I was going to read my screens without this, and I'm very glad that it's fixed for the latest Firefox.

No longer working with FF 44.0 Rated 5 out of 5 stars

I think the problem is with FX and not the extension Rated 5 out of 5 stars
This is a very good extension that addresses several functional and aesthetic issues.
Unfortunately, in the relatively recent past, changes in the Firefox code have wreaked havoc with it.
Several people have mentioned that the most recent update (43.10) doesn't work, but I don't think it's quite that simple since updating the Fx Nightly today (25 Jan) also broke version 43.4.
All I can say is that it still works on Firefox ESR. It doesn't work - at least on my machines - on Nightly (v. 46 and - as of today - v.47, and it also doesn't work on v. 44 Beta.
Another issue users need to consider is the other extensions they have installed. I've also found that NoScript is also partially broken in a way that seems to be related to the status bar.
All in all, I think the issue is quite a bit more complicated than it appears to non-computer experts like me.
My thanks to the dev, for whom I'm sure this is as troublesome as it is for us end-users, if not more so.
A fix would certainly be nice, but it may not be completely in the dev's hands.
My icon Vanished, Where did it go? Rated 5 out of 5 stars
FF 44 is 100% the problem. This addon continues to work great as soon as you remove 44 and re-install FF 43.04. What is it with these FF updates? They seem to cause more problems than anything useful. This review is for a previous version of the add-on (43.10).

Excellent add-on except . . .-- Updated Rated 5 out of 5 stars
This is an excellent add-on that is more or less useful for everyone.
I used to do the same thing by hand editing the chrome file, but that was pain.
Thanks again for a very excellent add-on.
The only thing that has come up with newer version of FF (now at 45.0a1 (2015-11-05)) is that the icon is lost. I have looked everywhere that I could think of but to no avail, the bookmark bar font has reverted to the default!!
Update: Even with the latest update (42.3), I cannot still find the icon to change the fonts etc... Am I the only one with this problem!? If not can someone tell me where I can find this?
New update i.e. version 4.3 works perfectly well with the nightly now.
Thanks again for a very good add-on.

Our secretary needs to use a lot Thunderbird and the colors for the labels and the size of the text wasen't good for their eyesight.
With this addon, they can now easily work without getting too many headaches!

Good for scaling things in situations where you have a high dpi display and do not want to use the OS's own scaling for various reasons. This review is for a previous version of the add-on (41.1).

Wonderful add-on, works as promised! Rated 5 out of 5 stars
This add-on does exactly what it says it does -- and more! I was having a terrible time reading menus in Firefox and Thunderbird, and recent updates of the programs seemed to be just making things worse. While I could zoom the text on screen, I was not able to find a way to reliably view the text in toolbars and menus in either program. That has changed with this add-on! You not only get a choice of fonts to use, you also get to choose the font size and weight. I only had to increase font size very slightly (the add-on allows changes by 1/2 unit increments, which is good), but changing from regular to bold face made a HUGE difference. For those who use Thunderbird, this add-on also allows you to change the font that folders are displayed. Zooming in that program just increased the reading pane view. Now I can see menus and the folder pane clearly. Context menus are also displayed in the font size and weight I choose.
I'm in my mid-50s so reading glasses are a part of my daily routine now, but it was maddening to only need them to read the menus, toolbar items, and the like. No more! Thanks so much to the developer for making this add-on. I can see everything more clearly now, which is a good thing!
