Useful addon Rated 5 out of 5 stars

It should be a default feature in Firefox.
Thank you.

Useful and easy to use Rated 3 out of 5 stars

A great addon, with a click on the icon it prevents the page in the vision from opening unwanted pages or else, great.
A single defect, it's just manual.
It would be useful to remember, which pages to activate and which not, automatically,
even with an automatic activation but only "after loading the page" :)

It would be nice if it can turn on/off cache Rated 5 out of 5 stars

This add-on saves space on my crowded toolbar.
But it would be even better if it also can turn on/off cache. I believe it is the browser.cache.(disk|memory).enable preference in about:config.

My favorite add-on but won't work properly on my new computer Rated 5 out of 5 stars

Quickjava has been working perfectly until this week when I installed it to another WinXP computer. Now on both Palemoon (26.0.1 Atom/XP) and Firefox 25, also on Firefox 51, it's defaulted to all icons red when I start up either browser, and the J and SL icons cannot be changed, they can't be disabled (changed to blue)...they are unresponsive. The other icons are responsive, although I don't like them defaulting to red at startup.
If the author would like to help me, please give me an actual email or contact address. I've tried the support site and cannot spot a "contact me" link anywhere, and it's very obtuse and hard to understand the explanations of the workings of this great add-on.

Can't provide support here

I appreciate the review, however it will be removed because it's against the review rules. You can comment on any of the posts on the support site, or open an issue ticket on GitHub which is linked to on the support site. Palemoon isn't supported, and Firefox 25 is very old and hasn't been supported for over 3 years. You can try an older version of QJ (2.0.4.1 or older) from here:

My most useful addon. For example, when you visit a site I can quickly and easily turn off JavaScript and Java, which makes it more secure way to view. It is simple, understandable, directly. Simply super!

supberb addon Rated 5 out of 5 stars

- its simple but effective!
- easy way to toggle FLASH, JavaScript, etc. on/off.
- for me the most comprehensive way to block those eye-hurting animated GIFs.

Whitelist Rated 4 out of 5 stars

Nice but with a whitelist would be absolutely perfect for many other purposes other than simply turn on/off globally.

I'm sure a simple whitelist on this addon will make many NoScript users to get rid of such buggy, heavy addon, that at the moment, as far as I know, is the only one with a JS whitelist.

How to block video Rated 4 out of 5 stars

This is great addons, but how to block video only ?

This review is for a previous version of the add-on (2.0.8).

Not supported functionality

That functionality is not supported by this add-on. There are some steps you can take to try to disable HTML5 content, when combined with turning off Flash should stop videos but may also disable other features.

A quick google search gave me this link, hope it helps:

Fantastic product but... Rated 5 out of 5 stars

This is one of the most useful add-ons I have, and it's great for security. But, I just upgraded to FF 46.0, and FF is now telling me it will disable QuickJava on my next restart.

I thought Quickjava was a "signed" add-on and is ok? FF is getting harder and harder to deal with because of things like this...

This review is for a previous version of the add-on (2.0.8).

It is, and I'm seeing a few complaints about this...

Please make sure you have the latest (signed) version of the addon (if you used a beta version at any point or modified it yourself it may not auto-update). Otherwise you will need to contact the mozilla support team as there is nothing I can do to help you with this :(

Thanks for the positive review and I hope they resolve the issue quickly for you!

After disable JS on the site, and remove plugin, js still disable. Grade work!

This review is for a previous version of the add-on (2.0.8).

For security reasons

QuickJava does not change any of the settings without a direct user interaction (or advanced settings being set for specific scenarios). If QJ were to Enable or Disable any of the settings without the user causing that specific action I would consider it a security risk.

It's also worth noting that all of the settings modified by QJ are just FF settings, which other addons may also have access to, so QJ is just a quick way of getting to these settings, it's not removing functionality from the browser. (The FF developers did that on their own when they removed the JS on/off option from the settings page).

A must have Rated 5 out of 5 stars

Rated 5 out of 5 stars

この addon で、(Javascript/Cookies/Java/Flash/SilverLight/Images/Animated Images/Style/Proxy)各種のコンテンツを合理的に、簡単に、icon を「One-Click」するだけで、制御できます。

「Disconnect」「HTTPS-Everywhere」「Statutory」「Decentraleyes」「Privacy Badger」「Fox Web Security」「NoScript」

I, until recently, "Flash Control" and other general (of the browser Option, other addons) in the means, had carried out the control of the "Java".
I'm using "Cyberfox43.0.4 / intel x64".
I was using the "FlashControl" from two years ago.
However, recently, "icon" is in the missing (lost), it does not work at all.
Therefore, as a result of looking for something to become an alternative, I found a "QuickJava".

This "QuickJava" is so great !.
Thanks to this addon, reasonably, easy, in the shortest of time and effort, we were able to control the various contents (Javascript/Cookies/Java/Flash/SilverLight/Images/Animated Images/Style/Proxy).
And, the option is necessary and sufficient.
It is sufficiently satisfactory finish.

as contents tangling of security risks for the measures, I recommend strongly.
and also Combination of "Disconnect", "HTTPS-Everywhere", "Statutory", "Decentraleyes", "Privacy Badger", "Fox Web Security", "NoScript", etc, I recommend.

QuickJava on Firefox 64bit Rated 4 out of 5 stars

This is a very good Add-on, but the "Options" do not load properly on Firefox 64bit load. They DO load properly on Firefox 32bit.

Ideales Tool zum Check der barrierefreiheit Rated 5 out of 5 stars
