Why was Plugin Disabler created?
GNOME 3 requires the Gnome Shell Integration plugin to install GNOME shell extensions using https://extensions.gnome.org. Unfortunately, it cannot be used if set to Ask to Activate. As a result, you have to set the plugin to Always Activate. Also, you have to remember to disable the plugin after you have used the site if you don't want it to cause unnecessary security risks and possibly decreased performance. I don't want this. I want plugins to be deactivated on startup.
What's next for Plugin Disabler
I have no plans to update this add-on.
