Add extra features and styles to make Thunderbird your own.Close
Firefox 27.0.1 and earlier versions activate newly installed plugins by default. This is not what I want. I want Firefox to deactivate newly installed plugins. And since I wasn't aware of the fact that the preference 'plugin.default.state' (accessible through about:config) can be used to deactivate newly installed plugins, I decided to create an add-on that does the job.
After releasing the last version (0.3), I have learned that Firefox actually has an advanced preference that allows you to disable new plugins by default. By opening about:config (http://kb.mozillazine.org/About:config) and changing the value of the preference 'plugin.default.state' to 0, you can configure Firefox to deactivate newly installed plugins. As a result of this feature, you do not need this add-on. Consequently, I have no plans to update it.
