About this Add-on
MuteThread adds Ignore Thread and Ignore Subthread menu entries to the Message menu for email messages, like Thunderbird already does for newsgroup messages.
WARNING: It's possible to lose track of email threads by inadvertently hitting "K" (the shortcut), and not notice.
To see which messages, if any, are hidden from view in a given folder, select the "View -> Threads -> Ignored Threads" menu item while in that folder. Due to a bug in current versions of Thunderbird, you'll have to exit and re-enter the folder in order for the ignored threads to re-appear.
Other Known Issues
* Ignored unread messages still keep the folder bolded and show up in folder counts. (Workaround: when in a folder that has hidden threads keeping the unread-count non-zero, one can mark all threads, including the ignored ones, as read by pressing "C")
* No shortcut for "View -> Threads -> Ignored Threads".
* automatic updating to future versions is in place
* misc non-user-visible tweaks
