This extension has contributed to my company's (almost) total migration away from mutt and all other command-line Unix-like clients to Thunderbird. It is one of the single biggest productivity improvements in Thunderbird.

I remain baffled that redirect/bounce is not an integral feature of Thunderbird--but I _am_ an email dinosaur who started with electronic mail on an IBM mainframe in 1980. I don't want to have to re-write tens of mail handlers on six different platforms to parse MIME attachments (or worse, try to find the old message boundaries in non-MIME-attachment forwarded messages).

The _only_ drawback to Mail Redirect is that it doesn't install in new Thunderbird 15.0.1 installations. My older, upgraded Thunderbird clients automagically update to a fresh 15.0.1 installation claims the add-on is not compatible with 15.0.1.

This review is for a previous version of the add-on (0.7.4).
