It's simple and it works! Rated 5 out of 5 stars

I don't know how many times I've wished that Firefox had the "Look up in dictionary" feature. Now I wish I had found this sooner! It's so simple and does exactly what it's supposed to.

Great, but compatibility-update is needed.

Works great in conjunction with Rikaichan for getting a more comprehensive definition from Daijisen.

Just one bug when using this with Spaces, it switches focus to the Dictionary app but it doesn't switch the display to the space it's running on.

Small panel Rated 4 out of 5 stars

Come on man! It's been months! Would you please just give an answer!
Is there any way to see the dictionary panel instead of the application??

Great add-on!
Is there any way to see the dictionary's small panel instead of opening the application itself?

Good So Far (v 0.2) Rated 3 out of 5 stars

This is a good start. As of version 0.2, it's already simpler than most other dictionary add-ons for Firefox. It's also very lightweight and fast. A couple of suggestions that may make it even better:

1. Currently, the "Look Up in Dictionary" call out is above the "Search Google for..." call out. Most people may search for a phrase or popular news before they look it up in the dictionary, so it seems that "Look Up in Dictionary" should be listed second.

2. In Safari, to look up a word, you can also simply hover over the word and press Control + Command + D on your keyboard, which brings up a call out with the dictionary meaning. That'd be helpful here, too.

Great start! I'm already using this as my default dictionary add-on in Firefox 3.5!

Imperfect, but great Rated 4 out of 5 stars

The perfect solution of course being a native (or seemingly so) integration where cmd+ctrl+d brings up the little definition popup, but this one is good enough for me (for now).

One request - Is it possible to make it so the 'Look Up in Dictionary' menu item is available even without highlighting the word? I've seen this implemented in other plugins, it'll be great if I don't have to painstakingly highlight the exact word every time I want to look something up.

Arigatou!

I wish that I didn't have to have the dictionary.app running before I could look up a word! I also wish that I could get the in-browser mini-window like I do in Safari. Otherwise, it is a good alternative!

Finally here is the lovely dictionary plugin that allows me to totally discard the safari browser.
