Thunderbird Conversations 2.10 No Restart
This addon provides a conversation view for Thunderbird, grouping messages together and allowing you to reply "inline" thus providing a more efficient workflow.
The latest version is compatible with Thunderbird 38+ only (see below for details).
About this Add-on
*** Version Compatibility ***
Thunderbird 38: please make sure you are running the latest (2.9.1) version of the addon and restart Thunderbird -- Thunderbird will let you upgrade to 38 without updating Conversations, hence giving you a broken setup
Thunderbird 31: go to "Versions" at the bottom to install 2.8.X
Thunderbird "Daily": use the latest "master" from here (and do check for updates regularly, these builds don't self-update)
Thunderbird "Beta", Thunderbird "EarlyBird": no guarantees, try either one.
We welcome feedback, but only if you've read the FAQ before :-)
Thunderbird Conversations is a Thunderbird extension which, as the name implies, enables a conversation view in your Thunderbird. Notable features include:
- a regular conversation view that fetches messages from all folders, and behaves just like Gmail’s
- a quick reply feature, with autocomplete, that allows you to reply to a thread in a snap,
- quoted parts are collapsed,
- keyboard shortcuts,
- and a few other bonus features.
Don't forget to hit View > Sort By > Threaded in the menus. To remove the unified folder view, hit View > Folders > All.
