FF30+ Rated 5 out of 5 stars

Sehr gutes Add-on, benutze ich schon seit Jahren!

* extensionlistdumper@sogame.cat.xpi entpackt
* install.rdf folgendermassen modifiziert (siehe weiter unten)
* Addon-Version erhöht: <em:version>1.15.3</em:version>
* Firefox-maxVersion erhöht: <em:maxVersion>37.*</em:maxVersion>
* Addon gepackt (.zip) und Extension umbenannt in .xpi
* In Firefox über Addon-Mgr aus Datei installiert

Such useful extension stopped with Ff 30.0.
It's not the only one among many other good and successful addons.It's a shame what the new "structure" of Mozilla and Ff have brought!

I have been using InfoLister for many years .... Rated 3 out of 5 stars

With the "door hanger" display the Print button goes directly to the "native print dialog" box, no way to change the "Scale" via Page Setup or Print Preview (unless that already set for something else that was printed and wasn't reset to the default). Base font is just too large, IMO. My first print out was 4 pages long and all I added was Install Date

All types of Add-ons are lumped together, and the whole list is alphabetized. Extensions are intermixed with Appearance (Themes) and with Plugins, along with User Styles, and possibly GreaseMonkey scripts and "Social". It is possible to do a single Type output, like Extensions only but no "Type" listed for UserSyles or other then the "main" 4 Types.No way to include the Profile name, for users who are running multiple Profiles. for whatever reason.

Overall, a good start but not as friendly as the old InfoLister that many long time Firefox users have been using for over 9 years. ALD or ELD pales by comparison for power users who may have 50+ extensions, a lightweight theme or two and a few dozen UserStyles, along with some GM scripts.

There was a fix posted on Mozillazine to make ELD work on FF30+ Rated 4 out of 5 stars

Extension List Dumper stopped working as of FF 30 or so. A fix requiring a change to one line of a JS file in the XPI was posted on Mozillazine. See http://forums.mozillazine.org/viewtopic.php?f=48&t=2831621

Stopped Working Rated 1 out of 5 stars

Updated to Firefox version 30.0 and this extension stopped working. All I get is a blank window after clicking on "Dump List" in the addons page. I am really going to miss this extension.

Works for me Rated 4 out of 5 stars

I tried this in 2014, on Windows 7. It works for me. You will see a button in the addons manager, only on the "extensions" tab.

One improvement I'd like is to have hyperlinks to the addons.mozilla.org site where each can be installed. oh well.

Specifically on Mac worked fine on Aurora 29.0a2;
completely failed on Aurora 30.0a2 (about March 21).
No response from emailsupport address.
Dev's other addons all seem to have been
last updated in late 2011.

R.I.P. Extension LIst Dumper, unless somebody who knows how
picks it up and makes it well again. We can always hope.

Not working with Firefox 29. Last update 2011. Smells like a dead horse.

Not working for me at all with 28 Rated 3 out of 5 stars

I'm sure it would be five stars if it worked but it's not producing a list at all on FF 28 on Win 7

Works with 31 other add-ons In Ff v18.0.2... Rated 4 out of 5 stars

Replaced Infolister because it's not supported anymore. Just installed ELD on Ff v18.0.2 and it seems to work okay. No problems seen with short term tests so far. ELD and Infolister are the only two add-ons I've found that perform this feature and hope one or both are maintained indefinitely... or until Ff dev's wise up and make this a default feature within Ff, although I'm not holding my breath as these common sense things seem to take Mozilla development forever to realize, let alone incorporate. Thanks to the developer "Sogame" for providing this feature add-on so we can keep track of what we have installed regarding add-ons. ELD DOES NOT list plug-ins as did Infolister. That would be a big plus to add the option to include the installed plug-ins to the list along with the add-ons. Thanks Sogame!

fabulous Rated 5 out of 5 stars

I love this addon. Listing your addons has been problematic till now. Thanks.
Wondering if you can adapt it to also make lists of scripts , appearance , plugins and services?

Useful for anyone with lots of extensions Rated 5 out of 5 stars

I've missed for a long time being able to export a list of extension names so that I know what I had installed. I used to use MR Tech Toolkit which enabled even more options that this extension provides but was quite a lot larger. For a more minimalist extension it does the job well.

IF FOUND THE BUTTON!! My previous, not impressed, post is here ... "Where is this "button" you speak of. I cannot find it anywhere. Waste of time as far as I'm concerned." My REVISED POST is here .... "OK here's the deal. You HAVT TO BE IN THE "Add-ons Manager" in Firefox. It's NOT on the standard page, where most of us would ge looking for it. BUT, If you go into your Firefox Add-Ons, and you look at the very extreme, ROP, RIGHT hand side CORNER of the page you will see a button called "DUMP LIST" and that is where you can print your add-ons etc. In either text or if you wish in PDF. It does a good job but the developer needs to tell people WHERE the button is, otherwise we all look for it on the main page. Works well once you've been able to read the mind of the developer though"

This is just excellent.

Over the years I've used everything from FEBE to screenshots to Notepad just to keep a list of my extensions.

Found this just a couple of days ago and it works a treat, thank you very much.

Many thanks also to CodeSlayer for the about:support tip... I hadn't looked at that before, which will also do what I want as well as telling me what extensions are in those folders with utterly unhelpful names.

W7, IceDragon 22.

Extension List Dumper 1.15.2 Crashes Firefox 22 (won't uninstall correctly) Rated 1 out of 5 stars

I heard good things about this extension, however it caused problems when I installed it. I'm using Firefox 22.0 and ELD 1.15.2. The issue is immediately after clicking install, my Firefox session crashes. I can restart in FF safe-mode (Windows 7), which disables all extensions. I tried disabling and restart but it crashes. Tried clicking remove -- it says it was removed -- then restart FF and it only says disabled. I think the developer should investigate whether this is reproduceable and provide a fix because I very much WANTED to love this addon. As a side note, if you want a built in way to get a printable list of your installed addons type "about:support" in the address bar.
