Is it easy to implement into the addon ability to show Face, X-Face header? Why nobody cares about these headers?

It would be nice to add LDAP/AD support Rated 5 out of 5 stars

Nice addon, but it would be much better (userfull) if you could support LDAP, like in component https://addons.mozilla.org/ru/thunderbird/addon/ldap-contact-photo/

Thank you.

Buena Extención - Idea Rated 5 out of 5 stars

Esa bastante buena la extensión, me permite actualizar muchas de las fotos de mis contactos, y tengo para lo mismo una idea, el unirla con redes sociales, en donde muchos usuarios poseen fotos, como es Facebook o google+

Nice addon Rated 5 out of 5 stars

I like this addon.

I changed the header background to:
#expandedHeaderView, #header-view-toolbox, #collapsedHeaderView {
background-color: #CADCEB !important;
color: black
}
But it doesn't work around the photo.

How can I color the background around the photo?

Perfect Rated 4 out of 5 stars

Works fine, uses photos from the address book and from a local folder. Only drawback: When composing an email with yourself in BCC, it will show your picture, too.

Always shows default photo! Not the contact photo Rated 2 out of 5 stars

I get my gmail contact photos using gContactSyc addon and that addon saves those contact images somewhere on the disk.
Now my contacts have images but this addon doesn't show them. It always shows the default image only!
Buggy

Is possible to get the contact photo from Mac Address Book? Rated 4 out of 5 stars

The add-on is great (it is a good complement similar to the one that provides Mail in Macosx). Could it be possible to get the contact photo from Mac OSX Address Book instead of TB one?
Thanks

It would have been great if this becomes compatible with Thunderbird Conversations addon.

Photos are no more diaplyed in address book contact summary Rated 4 out of 5 stars

Very useful addon but with V1.2.4 the photos are not displayed any more in the adress book contact summary (even for contacts with e-mail address).
Even with the forthcoming new V1.2.5 the photos are not correctly displayed. So I fell back to V1.2.3 where everything is fine...

Problem with 1.2.4 Rated 4 out of 5 stars

I really like this add-on, but the latest release won't display a photo unless the address book entry has an e-mail address! This wasn't the case with the previous release (1.2.3) and the image still shows in the properties' photo tab, but nowhere else — since I use the address book for any and all contact information there are a number of entries which contain physical addresses, dates, PHOTO, web or facebook contacts but no e-mail address. With the latest version suddenly the photo (even default images) no longer appear.

Great Rated 5 out of 5 stars

Genuinely awesome add-on.My only gripe is that there is no "official" Thunderbird 5 compatible release...and at this rate, there won't be one when Thunderbird 6 is released (Which is pretty soon). The author has pretty much missed an entire release of the product. It's fantastic that this add-on is still active, but he needs to roll out updates (even partial, incomplete - but stable) more often.

Experimental for v5.0 Rated 5 out of 5 stars

Goto "view all versions" on the bottom of this add-on homepage.
Download the experimental version 1.2.1 dated 2011-07-01, 329.7 kB.
Works perfect with my v5.0 Thunderbird among about 30 other add-ons.
Display-Contact-Photo is perfect with intranet domain pictures to avoid wrong addressed extranet e-mails.
