narrow drop markers in ff 23+ Rated 5 out of 5 stars

is there a way to get the narrow drop markers back in firefox 23 and up? i mean the ones in the navigation and addon bar.

i know, the "classic look" would do it, at least for the addon bar, but i don't like the classic in the addon bar a lot.

thanks for maintaining. :)

Hi,
as far as I know, there are only four types of dropmarkers:
black - small/large and
white - small/large.
All four can be selected separately inside options area and work fine up to Fx24.

If I misunderstood you, could you post one or two screenshots showing dropmarkers you are talking about.

Was anything changed on Fx23+? I have not seen any recent dropmarker changes.

it seems that

browser.download.useToolkitUI

doesn't do anything in newest firefox versions.

Actually it does.

If it is enabled, you see a little progress bar inside 'download'-button and it turns into a green arrow, after a download is finished.

If this option is disabled, you won't see any progress bar or green arrow inside 'download'-button. Instead the classic downloads window appears once a download starts.

One "feature" got removed by Moz, because it was too buggy: 'displaying finished downloads inside library'.

I guess thats what you are referring to.
