It doesnt work with ff 56

非常に優秀なアドオンです Rated 5 out of 5 stars

The add-on "CacheView" can indicate cache of Firefox. It is very useful. Especially, "CacheView" is useful when Firefox has been infected by computer virus. You can investigate with "CacheView" when and where computer virus sends information. Additionally, Firefox and add-ons send [much useless information] immediately after starting Firefox. You can observe it with "CacheView".

Need instructions on how to open? Rated 4 out of 5 stars

Instructions to open it: http://park2.wakwak.com/~benki/how_to_use_cacheviewer.html
Basically it's in tools> web developer in the menu, OR you can add it as an icon on the toolbar from customize. It's not obvious, should be included in the description of the add-on.
Otherwise, version 08361letfixed works fine on FF 52 Linux as it previously did in versions back to the original (when I was on Windows) years ago.

Doesn't work for me Rated 1 out of 5 stars

In FF 50.0.2 - It gives me the list of cached files, when I click on the one I am interested in it simply loads the live website, not the file from the cache. That is not the result I am looking for. How do I view the cached webpage?

CacheViewer2 Works perfectly in Firefox 49.0.1 Rated 5 out of 5 stars

I must admit I am amazed at some of the negative reviews here. With some trepidation I installed this add-on and it works perfectly. One must only have only a half a brain not understand how to access and use it because it's so damn simple.
Perhaps it doesn't work for you even though it works perfectly for others, don't you think you should investigate your installation/operating system et cetera, et cetera before giving a negative review

It works! Rated 5 out of 5 stars

With this add-on, I finally can browse the cache, search and save files, even multiple files.
At first, I couldn't find where to start CacheViewer, It is on 'Tools -> Web Developer -> CacheViewer'.
A big cache may slow it a little bit.
Anyway, great add-on!

Muy bueno. Pude recuperar una imagen que necesitaba.

Works Fine. Grabbed audio file Rated 5 out of 5 stars

I wanted to save an audio file from a text to speech converter for fair (I believe) use in education. I started the plugin, as described onthe developer's site
entered mp3 into the search box and it found the text to speech audio files in my cache instantly. Now all I need to do is play them in my lecture.

I think that the developer should include instructions on how to use the plug in in a screen shot on this page because otherwise one would never find it.

nope. Really. It doesn't work. I've read the read me, it doesn't work. Rated 1 out of 5 stars

no stars. This thing is a waste of time.

Doesn't work, just doesn't do anything: about:cache is exactly as it was before, nor I've found any other way to show anything else…

Works nicely with FF 38.0.1 Rated 5 out of 5 stars

Very useful add-on! Version works very well with Firefox 38.0.1 on MacBookPro. I can't follow some complaints about the lack of documentation here. It's actually self-explanatory. Edit the preference of the add-on (show cache content in a new tab or window) in the add-on list, go to customization, drag the icon into the toolbar, you're done.

Difficult to find how to open extension (Tools | Web Developer | CacheViewer) and when opening it, it only works for five seconds or so then completely locks up Firefox with 100% CPU usage. Have to terminate Firefox and reopen it to get control back.
