My Reviews

Multifox

Rated 5 out of 5 stars

Very useful addon, but recently I notice a serious bug that compromise its usefulness.
It seems that user/password stored for a profile are accessible from the main profile.
If I delete them from the main profile, they will be removed from the other profile too.
In brief, the two profiles works as one, as Multifox was not installed.
Four Stars, hoping for a fast fix of this problem.
EDIT: thanks for the answer, my fault then. I use the addon for some time and I never noticed this behaviour, I thought it could manage authentication data separately (including then stored passwords).
ProfileSwitcher could be a solution but it is an overkill too, I only need to manage different authentications for few websites.

Great addon, one of my favourite.
It seems that the last version changes someting about the toolbar icon, now it is large and rises the height of my toolbar. Any chance to fix it?

Tab Counter

Rated 4 out of 5 stars

Finally I found a working addon that (together with "open tab count widget" that count the total number of tabs opened in all windows) replace the old "Open Tab Count" and that allow me to se how many tabs are opened in a single window.

"Only" 4 stars because I think that a more complete addon would be much more useful.
My idea is an icon that shows the per window or group count (as this addon does) that, once clicked, opens a small panel that shows (in this order, and with a proper description):
- tabs opened in the present group
- tabs opened in the present window
- tabs opened in all windows (total)
It would be even nicer if I can choose which of these value I want to show in the icon without open the panel, or even to choose to show more than one value (for example 7/4/3 would mean 7 tabs in total, 4 in this window and 3 in this group).

Thanks!

PS: this addon is not so easy to find, if I search for "tab count" it don't appear. Maybe you need to add some search keyword.

Gmail Manager

Rated 4 out of 5 stars

At first, thanks for this useful extension.

Same problem for me as below: the default "addons bar" destination for Gmail-Manager icon don't work with FF29 anymore.
If I use an extension that restores the addons bar, gmail manager icon loose its placement at restart (the icon is moved at the extreme right of the navigation bar after a restart).
Please fix it (it should not be so difficult, maybe changing the default placement for the icon will solve the problem).

@luvNY
Thanks for the tip. It is a good temporary solution, but if I've to prepare a firefox profile for an unesperienced person, it will be not able to use this trick after he creates his account.

Linkification

Rated 4 out of 5 stars

Very useful addon for me, but for me it would be very useful if I could choose on which page formats enable it.
For example I could choose to enable it only for .txt files opened with firefox, but not for .html, .php, etc...pages.

DownThemAll!

Please add the title of the page as a rename mask.

DownThemAll!

Indispensable.
Is there a place where I can post feature requests?
I'd like:
- Two new renaming mask, that are 1) *pagetitle* and 2) *alt_attribute* (and title attribute), useful for downloaded images.
- A more customizable interface. I'd like to add/remove buttons in the toolbar, and organize my right click menu in download manager.
For example for me it's extremely uncomfortable that in order to clean the window I have to select all and then select cancel. Add/Remove segments is uncomfortable too...
I think personalization will help to make DTA more useful.
Thanks.

Contacts Sidebar

Rated 5 out of 5 stars

The extension is very useful and comfortable, but I think it misses some feature:
- I'd like to choose "contacts from all Address Books" in the Address Book field (instead single address books only). It would be a very useful feature for me.
- I'd like to put it beside folder's sidebar instead than under it (with wide screens I've much more horizontal space, and I use many folder so the folder's sidebar is very hight).

MR Tech Toolkit

Rated 5 out of 5 stars

Very useful extension.
Is possible to fix names issue when using "Archive xpi" function on mozilla add-ons site?
Using "right click -> Save as..." xpi file names are retrieved correctly (such as mr_tech_toolkit-6.0.3.3-fx+tb+sb+sm+fn.xpi), while using "Archieve xpi" I obtain file names like "addon-421-latest.xpi"

Contacts Sidebar

Absolutely necessary addon.
I think it misses 2 important features: -
1) possibility to place it not only under folder's panel but at its right (or left) too. -
2) add in the dropdown menu that allows to select one of the available adress books, the voice "all contacts" that shows all the contacts from all address books.
