ⓘ Great tool, but can you PLEASE add a toolbar button to toggle it on or off?
▶ sfm: The reason you are having the problems you are having, is because you blocked a site that is a part of your homepage or local data for your browser.
You can see what site is causing this issue by deleting them from your list, one at a time.
Just make sure you back-up your list before doing this.
▶ Why do people take stars away for Firefox compatibility issues?
This has NOTHING to do with an ADD-ONs functions or quaility.
It has to do with UPDATING something that the programmer is not in control of. Not to mention that fact that everyone is SO demanding, over software THEY DON'T PAY FOR!!
People are ABSURD!!
In a world with a million horrible programmers, it is nice to see at least one other programmer that knows what they are doing and takes pride in what they program. Thank you for taking our trade seriously and representing the best of what we can do. =)This review is for a previous version of the add-on (3.3).
▶ Great ADD-ON. It would be REALLY nice if you could add account manage features and allow us to copy and modify the Account location/sign on information.
This would make it much easy and faster to add new accounts / server locations.
Please consider adding this feature.
I LOVE IT when people like you go to write a review, acting like you are somehow a professional or knowledgeable, when you have ZER0 knowledge or experience on the very subject you are posting on!!
This ADD-ON's entire purpose, is to allow people to manage LOCAL FILES, on any platform and without eating up more resources by opening a separate process!!
GET A CLUE!!
▶Search for and get "iMacros for Firefox" instead. This review is for a previous version of the add-on (18.104.22.168).
▶ Gracetoyou, you are complaining that when you add a site to the blacklist, then click the whitelist, they are on that list too. That is NOT a mistake in programming.
Those are "Radio Buttons". Radio Buttons denote a linear choice. In other words, clicking the buttons, tells the program how to behave. If you want it to block the sites in the list, you choose "Blacklist". If you want it to block ALL websites, EXCEPT those on the list, you click the "Whitelist" Radio Button.
In short, there is NOT two separate lists. It is the same list. The button options for Blacklist/Whitelist, chose how the program treats the list.
I hope that clears it up for everyone.
★ Note to Author: PLEASE make a toolbar button and/or context menu options, so that it is easier to add sites to the blocklist. Thanks.
▶ I love the idiots that give this add-on less than 5 stars, lol. This company is giving you a FREE VERSION of their #1 software, that is NO WHERE NEAR CHEAP TO OWN!!
Yet they went ahead and put effort into giving us all this software for free. THEY PAID EMPLOYEES MONEY, TO MAKE YOU A FREE FIREFOX PLUG-IN, WITH NO LIMITATIONS & FULL SUPPORT!!
You people are STUPID!!
I downloaded this, thinking it would be a useful of medium importance, but I was wrong.
It is a GREAT tool, with a high value.
You can click on the flag and get a pretty detailed "Whois" report on the site you are on.
A VERY useful tool.
Thanks for making it.
You should add a "Donation Link". =)
Really nice Add-On.
It would be even better if you added META-Data to the captured Images.(Showing Browser Used, Website Location, Time & Date and maybe a few other values.)
Keep working at it! =)
Double Post. This review is for a previous version of the add-on (0.7.1.1).
