Bigger version number gives more bloat as usual. Nothing special in development in positive way but size has grown 10 times. (-1 star) Still waiting option to disable text in button and keeping only icon on it (-1 star). And developer(s) doesn't answer to e-mail (-1 star). This review is for a previous version of the add-on (5.9).
This add-on is very good space saver. Must-have in computers with small resolution (laptops) where every pixel has price of gold. And moreover, it looks damn nice too : ). Hopefully we see a Thunderbird version also in someday.
BTW latest version (20111112) seems to have back this issue that titlebar is little bit too high, couple of pixels empty space below close/maximise buttons (XP, FF8).
Good idea but unfortunately doesn't work if using TabMixPlus and single window mode.
I like its idea but I cannot use it because it doesn't accept anything portable using realtive paths. So right now it's useless for me.
Thanks for quick reply. But problem of Browser View is that it takes info from registry. Real portable apps do not write anything into registry. Therefore my little request is to support relative paths ( in "..\.." style starting from FF folder) as I'm using 99% of my stuff as portable in USB drives and drive letters vary in different computers. And also beacuse of this situation only 2 fields what Browser View gives where user can set own apps is also insufficient. I repeat, idea is very good and I'd like to give surely more stars to this add-on.
I absolutley understand frustration when sending e-mail from wrong account. Been there. This add-on is a saver. I like colouring feature so I can see visually which kind of account is used. And developer is very kind to help with issues within a minutes. Superb service! This review is for a previous version of the add-on (1.6).
Good idea. I like addon bar feature. But there is some bug with it. It always shows same rankings for every site. Correct values are coming only when clicking on WR icon, then context menu opens and then selecting needed ranking and hovering to it's icon and then little pop-up window is only place which shows actual rankings. Using FF 7.0.1
Edit: So typical, after complaining and after more several restarts, it started working as it should.
BTW thanks for rapid reply : )
Edit2: Still this happens time to time :( And restarting FF fixes it.
