Data saver proxy for Firefox

Rated 4 out of 5 stars

Nice thing, both for Droid and PC (with FF38).

While it remembers its ena-/disabled state right it does not reflects its state in the icon after FF was restarted. Even when a Data Saver function is disabled the icon always still green until manually turned On and right then back Off.

Clean Links

Mixed taste Rated 3 out of 5 stars

Sure a Must Have, and works fine.

STILL, for years already, missed so handy and so boring without it - and so obvious! - an ability to open the uncleaned link right from the link context menu, without turning off a cleaning processing entirely.

So I'm in doubt between 3 or even 2. Well, 3 for a while.

DeeperWeb - Boost and Customize Google Search

R.I.P. Rated 1 out of 5 stars

It doesn't matter it cleans a frequent sites from default new tab page. It just doesn't work.

Not the extension but the "underlaying" site. Anyone free to go there and to add a new search in the searchbox menu, it'll work almost the same, i.e. no any word-cloud etc.

Dark Background and Light Text

Rated 4 out of 5 stars

Pity that FF38 support was dropped, it stills a reliable workhorse without BnW.

Well, it works, and works very well, even on a chrome: pages, giving a smooth surfing experience in a dark environment. One only but noticeable UX flaw, both on PC and Android, is unability to turn processing on/off **globally** without opening an entire "Global options" page.

This review is for a previous version of the add-on (0.5.9).

Darker Background Brighter Font

Uhm... Rated 2 out of 5 stars

Looks promising. But doesn't work on 38.lastest with a Developper theme enabled: no any button in the "customization" buttons palette and no other ways to launch.

Log Me In (e10s compatible Secure Login)

UX too. Rated 3 out of 5 stars

Before all pls look onto the Secure Login a bit more, in some areas its UI is more smart and flexible.

1. Annoying and extralarge "Login" button. An existence of the login form DOES NOT mean user want/will login right now. (example: portal with email login)

2. Autologin right after credentials choosed. Sometimes user want to only FILL IN credentials information, i.e. on a captcha-protected portals. (example: the same portal with email login)

3. Have to use not only verbal description of multilogins but a coloring too, it'll provide a much better UX.

Anyway, it works :)

Only Minor Update

These "minor" updates are too minor Rated 2 out of 5 stars

Nice idea and is very useful for an ESR users. But. Having 38.7.1 and this addon saw NO ANY notifications about 38.8.0 untill a hour ago -- after disabled this addon then cleared all update-related settings in about:config then restarted FF.

Auto Unload Tab

39.0 and up?!? WTF? Rated 1 out of 5 stars

Why the previous 38.7 ESR left aside? WHAT exact core function forces this works on v39.0 and up only?

Doesn't tested at all. And never will. Rated 1 out of 5 stars

Because of the VERY obtrusive first-start signup page with a strong enough adblock-blocker and a bunch of mouseclick/conextmenu/hotkey disablers...
Looks just greedy and nothing more.

Rated 4 out of 5 stars

Nice handy tool, the one of the must-have (but still never included).
Bad that it isn't adaptive (like MS Office etc.) but it's not a bug flaw contrary its usability in general.
Most fresh 2.3.1 is on addon homepage.

Nice to see improvements Rated 1 out of 5 stars

Well, something were fixed, at least the profiles are visible in the icon's context menu on PM-25.5. It's nice.

1) the Preferences dialog does not show the present values but only "initial" on every dialog opening
2) the previous negative reviews (being awaited for an improvements and consequent rating rising) WERE REMOVED from the review page (but still visible in profile, suck it, liar)

Rated 2 out of 5 stars

This 1.7, both an update from 1.6.x and a clean install, are incompatible with PaleMoon, a preferences aren't remembered, a profiles list is empty.

It's very, er... nice that this review ABSENT at the addon-page reviews list. SHAME!

Even the latest 1.7.2 still half-fixed for PM-25.5. Paolo, You are handless!

S3.Google Translator

Rated 4 out of 5 stars

Well, it's about to the best, but only about to.

1. Still missing for an ages a very simple but very handy auto-switch of translation modes (button press translates selection/fullpage depending on selection is present or not) like "Google Translator for Firefox" does.

2. No ways to 1) completely disable hotkeys and 2) set any button and button menu based action to show/hide toolbar.

Dark Side Of The Prism

Rated 1 out of 5 stars

Absolute CRAP.
Based on a few *hardcoded* domain names and nothing more.

// Basic list of providers based on media coverage
var prismSitez = ["", "", ...];
for (var i = 0; i < prismSitez.length; i++) {

Previous Folders

Rated 3 out of 5 stars

Nice idea, but...
"These keys are absent on XP"?!?
It's very strange (for addon author only of course and not for any else with a bit of knowlege) but this
...\Internet Explorer\TypedURLs
is present not only on Vista but on XP too.
Well, not sure for the "stock" IE6. But with the latest available IE8 installed (that's required by a many contemporary programs) this key IS here.
RTFM is good :)

Rated 3 out of 5 stars

Just a kind of "version bump" (a bit more complex, but doesn't matter) -- the same (thanks to original addon author) simple and mostly handy UI and no any improvements, custom headers support absent.

Anchors reveal

Rated 2 out of 5 stars

didn't work in the Pale Moon, shame.
but well, another +1 for it works, as it said in the prev. review

This review is for a previous version of the add-on (0.4.1-signed.1-signed).

Rated 2 out of 5 stars

Nice to C it alive.

Unfortunately, a very strange version limitation, 26 and up (*why* 26?! why not 27 nor 31? neither 25, that's a lot better indeed), kicks away an entire fast-growth Pale Moon users community.

Link Pad

Rated 5 out of 5 stars

It's a very, very sad that this brilliant tiny thing is not updated anymore nor integrated into core

Buggy spyware-like crap Rated 1 out of 5 stars

Well, it works and proxifies sites. But:

1. A half of UI didn't work on Firefox: almost every of submenu "toggles" does nothing, moreover it's impossible to remove a site from local list except via about:config.

2. Support site (forum.fri-gate) is dead, had gone away just about a week ago and still redirects to the main page.

3. SPYWARE-like.
Many site visits (at least to a new, unvisited site) contains a request like;amp;amp;aff_id=undefined&v=201409301324&client_id=c828b90d7f24b068265&time=1417684778967
that returns a web-bug, 1x1px transparent .gif
This happens ALWAYS, EVEN when the extension turned OFF, and goes away only after disabling it in the Add-ons Mgr.

== upd ==

2. Well, 'twas my fault 'cuz of staled DNS records after a site IP change a few days before.

1. Exactly the menu for changing options (on/off turbo, proxy etc.) for the user-added *.site and removal of this *.site from the "local" ("user-side") list. As a developper You should know that there is one.

3. "Advertising" is what Anonymox does. You shows no adverts and still tracks users EVEN regardless of their DNT preference been set. Therefore you spies.

Sorry, still "1"
