This addon is of great help for web developers and testers.
Its purpose and use is very simple: it just fills in all the inputs with dummy data as best as it can. The more semantic the HTML form, the best job Dummy Form Filler will do. So this addon works best with forms that take all the advantages of HTML5 (type email, type date, type tel, etc.). What I like the most is its "lack of feature", it's just a button in the toolbar, no need to read a doc, to configure regexp, it works out of the box just as you expect it. Finally, the description of this addon is perfect, one can only rephrase it :-)
At the time of this review, this addon has not been fully "validated" by Mozilla. I've done a code review on it myself and can tell it's OK, it's safe and won't compromise your browser stability, it will only produce effects when the button is clicked. So I think this addon should be fully validated. The addon code is clean and short (even fun if you love craft), this addon doesn't do much and does it well (it's its strength). It's using jQuery and chancejs as libraries. The only thing that I feel is lacking is the version of chancesjs in the file name, something like chance-X.Y.Z.min.js, that would help code reviewers to check that the original library has not been modified in the addon. And a small round of JSHint would graduate this addon with honors.

Building applications without tests is a pain. Hopefully there are now usable tools to achieve that for applications of the Mozilla family (Firefox, Thunderbird, etc.) and their addons/extensions, such as Mozmill.
Mozmill is powerful when run from the command-line as it integrates well with Makefiles and all other scriptable infrastructures.
The difficult part with Mozmill is to get how to retrieve the GUI elements references. There is a recorder on the GUI that produces code that can serve as inspiration.
At the moment the GUI of Mozmill is not really neat, but Mozmill does its job so well when run from the command-line, and the development team is so effective when asked for help, that I still give it the maximum rating. You should definitely try it.
Super useful. Simply perfect. Rated 5 out of 5 stars
Super useful. Simply perfect. Firefox should really have this console. Console is for developers, and developers need the features of this console. The actual default Firefox console is too simplistic and not powerful enough. This review is for a previous version of the add-on (0.7.1-signed).

I confirm that the new 1.08 version provides an option to not have the information leak that the previous versions had.
Animat is really a must have for APNG.
Usable, stable, just needs code to get windows Rated 2 out of 5 stars
It has a good usability, it's stable and secure as far as I can tell.
I use it without any problem with Firefox 3.6.x.
The online documentation is of a very good quality. Very useful for developers.
The only problems that block me are the impossibility to select/trap alert windows and filechooser windows. Thus I use UxU more for unit testing JSM modules and use Mozmill more for functionally testing windows.
Thanks a lot for this great extension!
Usable, stable but a small privacy issue Rated 4 out of 5 stars
An add-on with which one can create APNG files and don't get mad: in this respect it's really more usable than the "APNG Edit" add-on (that said I'm very respectful for all the work done on "APNG Edit"). Animat is just better.
I use Animat with Firefox 3.6.x and haven't had any stability problems.
Note that there is a small security issue with the versions up to 1.04 (included): the .animat format uses the full path on the filesystem of PNG images used, thus disclosing the user's name and an existing path on the host system. So don't publish your .animat files on the web until a new version that fixes this problem.
