My Reviews

Google search link fix

Doesn't work at all Rated 2 out of 5 stars

This add-on does exactly nothing in Firefox 48 + NoScript.

Realtime IP Check

Notification on IP address change please Rated 3 out of 5 stars

I'd love to see a notification when the IP address changes which means whenever a new IP address is detected it should be dumped to e.g. Firefox preferences file.

Edit: No, I mean I can close firefox and move to another physical location where I'll get a new IP address. So, when I start firefox again, I should see a notification:

Title: Your IP address has changed.

Your new IP address: XXX.XXX.XXX.XXX
Your old IP address: YYY.YYY.YYY.YYY

Screengrab (fix version)

Injecting code is the worst you could do Rated 1 out of 5 stars

It's not about whether it's by default or not: it's about the essence of it. And the essence of it is that you could run ads on your update page, or add a donate me button at the same place. Alternatively you could also show a big exclamation mark in the icon of your add-on.

Traffic injection is just low, base and mean, akin to what malware does. Stop it, remove this code and rethink your monetization policy. I'm appalled Mozilla has authorized this new version of add-on.

Promptly uninstalling.

Also, let's be fair: what are the aforementioned new features you're talking about? For two years you've been maintaining it you haven't even raised its version number, you haven't made it restartless, etc. etc. etc.

Please update for Firefox 46 Rated 5 out of 5 stars

The addon has become incompatible

Edit: the original author has told me that this add-on would not be updated because new Firefox (starting from Firefox 46) requires almost a complete add-on rewrite. Sigh.

Color That Site!

Pre CSS styling is still not supported Rated 5 out of 5 stars

You promised said support a year ago and you still haven't implemented it. Certain websites on the web cannot be recolored because of this (e.g. iXBT forum).

Also I'd like to export all my websites settings and import them on another PC of mine. How can I do that? Of course, I could find this addon settings in my profile folder but that's a tad tedious and plain wrong.

Thirdly, if possible please integrate CTS settings into Firefox's account sync.

Beta versions of this addon no longer work :-( (due to mandatory add-on signing). Please push them here ASAP.

In Firefox 41 the stable version of this addon has some glitches: for instance, the Filter tab is completely broken.

Please fix right mouse click integration in Firefox 40. DTA entries are either missing or totally malfunctioning.

1. This is fixed, thank you!
2. I'm eagerly waiting for this option.
3. I've enabled this setting and now Firefox does nothing when I double click an empty area of the tab bar. When a Firefox window is not maximized, I can drag it using this area, but I'd love to be able to maximize/un-maximize using mouse double click. In theory single left mouse click can actually open a new tab and double click can maximize/un-maximize. I'm not a XUL expert so if you say it's not possible then OK, let's live with that.

NEW 4: This is actually an old issue, I just forgot to mention it. This add-on has some weirdness in regard to its configuration interface. Please see the screenshot at: imgur DOT com SLASH b1YSmGP

Thank you!

Several problems Rated 4 out of 5 stars

Three are three serious issues with this add-on on Linux:

1. It prevents Firefox from properly going full screen, e.g. when watching YouTube's HTML5 videos the Firefox button can be seen and the task panel doesn't go away.

2. It doesn't follow common mouse API conventions. The browser window should only close after _releasing_ the left mouse button, not when you press it.

3. It doesn't forward mouse clicks to the free space of the Tab bar. Without this extension when you double click it, Firefox will maximize/unmaximize. With this extension installed, double clicking opens a new tab.

Hopefully these issues can be fixed. I've temporarily disabled the add-on because it inconveniences me way too much at the moment.

Toolbar Buttons

Rated 5 out of 5 stars

A button for "New Private Tab" would be awesome.

Also, it would be nice if this addon had its OWN UI with search functionality so that I could search for actions/buttons and then this extension would add them to my bars. Manually scanning through 100 actions with an arbitrary sort mode is quite an ordeal.

Edit: yes, I meant "New Private Window". Thanks! I've found the button.
