Nuke Anything Enhanced

Went back to previous version (1.1.1) Rated 3 out of 5 stars

I updated to 2.0, didn't like the new menu. It simply adds another step to accomplish the same thing the older version could do. Also, it removed the wrong thing on one website (sorry, but I can't tell you which website it was.) The older version worked perfectly for me, so I went back to it.

Use Bcc Instead

Just what I was looking for! Rated 5 out of 5 stars

Yep, I did the big no-no and sent out a group email using "To:". In my followup ("BCC"ed) apology email, I resolved never to make that mistake again. This extension is exactly what I was looking for. Many thanks!

Menu Wizard

This extension is nagware. Rated 2 out of 5 stars

Several times now (periodically, but not every single time) since installing this extension, I've started Firefox only to have an unwanted tab open urging me to donate money to the Menu Wizard developer. I opened the extension's options to see if I could stop this from happening, and saw "Advertising is disabled" at the bottom of the list of settings, but no option for turning this nagging nonsense on or off. Although this extension works as advertised, it also nags you to donate. For engaging in this behavior, I'm giving it a rating of 2.

Extension List Dumper 2

Works great!! Rated 5 out of 5 stars

This morning I got an update in Thunderbird for the original Extension List Dumper. It didn't work. This version though, does the job perfectly. Thanks very much for this excellent extension. Highly recommended to others.

Save Images

Works fine with Firefox 50.0.2 Rated 5 out of 5 stars

Don't know why the page says that this extension isn't commpatible with FF48+. I just installed it and used it with no problems whatsoever. My copy of Firefox is 32 bit, 50.0.2.

Copy Link Text

Works as advertised. Rated 5 out of 5 stars

It wasn't working for me in Firefox 42.0, but that was probably due to some obscure about:config tweak that I did. I just finished reinstalling Firefox and all my extensions, tweaking, etc. from scratch and it works fine now. IMO this extension should have been incorporated into Firefox a long time ago. My thanks to the author both for the extension and for his patience with me as I struggled to figure out the problem I was having with it. It works fine now.

Addon List Dumper (restartless)

Rated 1 out of 5 stars

Doesn't work, can't find widget on the navigation bar or anywhere else. And because I can't find that widget, I'm unable to get the extension to produce a list of addons. Might be a conflict with Classic Theme Restorer extension. Don't know. However, it simply doesn't work for me.

Google search link fix

Rated 5 out of 5 stars

Works as advertised. Many thanks to the developer. And by the way, as far as I can tell DuckDuckGo doesn't redirect their search result links.

Download YouTube Videos as MP4

Rated 4 out of 5 stars

This one works when others don't. I only wish that it were possible to obtain higher resolution versions of the video via this extension.

Toolbar Buttons

Works fine. Makes things easier to get at. Rated 5 out of 5 stars

I had thought that the extension had bugs, but it turns out that was because I like to put the buttons from the Mail Toolbar on the Menu Bar. Doing that makes it so that the order of the buttons isn't maintained. However, that's not a standard way of using the extension, so it was my fault. I moved the buttons back onto the Mail Toolbar and now everything works fine. I highly recommend this extension.

Bookmarks Checker - check for bad links

Rated 4 out of 5 stars

Works really well at finding bad bookmarks. However, I have three suggestions:

1. Make the report window resizable. This would reduce the need to scroll so much.

2. Make the column headings in the report window resizable too (after making the report window resizable). This would allow more information to show.

3. Add a location column. I arrange my bookmarks in folders and subfolders. Finding a bad bookmarks is still pretty difficult. I know I can delete a bad bookmark without having to search it down, but this would still be a useful feature to have.

Video DownloadHelper

5.0.1 is working Rated 5 out of 5 stars

The icon got moved to the default location and was a little hard to find, but I changed that to where I like it. This extension seems to be working fine again. And I like the new interface. Only problem I ran into was that the settings window needs a close button, but hitting Escape closes it too.

Menu Editor

Rated 1 out of 5 stars

After installing this extension, I was instructed to open the options menu. I did this, and the tab which told me to do so instantly forwarded me to the "MySearch-Engine.com" website, which got blocked by another of my extensions and only displayed a blank page. Since I just suffered through removing this search engine hijacker from a relative's computer, I can categorically recommend that you stay away from this extension. To the developer, SHAME ON YOU! To Mozilla, you need to keep a better eye on the extensions you list.

CookieKeeper

Rated 5 out of 5 stars

Excellent, just what I was looking for. Keeps the good, deletes the rest. Does what it says it will and although very easy to use, has many options.

1-Click YouTube Video Download

Rated 5 out of 5 stars

Great extension. Just be aware that there are some YouTube videos that you will be unable to download no matter which extension you use. You can attribute this to copyright issues most likely. There's probably some option that an uploader has to block all downloading.

Throbber Restored

Keeps indicating activity when there isn't any Rated 2 out of 5 stars

Might be a conflict with another extension, but once there is any activity it keeps indicating that there's activity even if there isn't. I'm using Firefox 29 with Classic Theme Restorer. Moved throbber to menu bar.

Awesome Throbber

Rated 3 out of 5 stars

Neat extension, but from what I can tell it doesn't work with Firefox 29 because Mozilla has done away with the throbber in that version.

Sidebar Bookmarks Search Plus

Rated 4 out of 5 stars

Thanks very much for this extension. I have over 800 bookmarks, all carefully arranged in folders and subfolders. Sometimes I just want to know where a link is in that heirarchy and Firefox, AFAIK, doesn't allow you to find that information. This extension makes it possible to do this. You simply type a key word into the search field which the extension adds to the bookmarks sidebar, and then right click on the result you want to find. VOILA! The location in your bookmarks list instantly opens. The only reason I didn't give it a five star rating is that it would be nice if there was instead a button you could click on and which would accomplish the same thing as right clicking on a result. That's because I probably will forget the right-click trick by the next time I use this extension. Regardless, it really helped me today, so thanks very much!

keyword.URL Hack!

Rated 5 out of 5 stars

Works perfectly. Restored "I feel lucky" to the location field. I'm using XP MCE SP3. Should mention that I have the keyword.URL entry in about:config set to where it's supposed to go. Many thanks! This fixes a feature I really like.

FlashDisable

Rated 5 out of 5 stars

The best extension for dealing with Flash content on a page. However, with FF22, it quit shutting off the Flash elements instantly. Now you have to recycle the page. At least on my system.
