In a little more detail...

I adore Firefox. The browser is unrivaled in it's power and flexibility. It never ceases to amaze me which clever add-ons have been put together in the community to make browsing the web easier, more comfortable and funner.

For me, it is logical to join the community. How better to contribute than to take something awesome, and improve it?

RESTClient, a debugger for RESTful web services.

Fantastic tool Rated 5 out of 5 stars

I absolutely love this tool! It makes my life as an Android developer much easier--I can easily execute requests and inspect their responses before I dive into implementing it.

RESTClient, a debugger for RESTful web services.

Great for developers Rated 5 out of 5 stars

I'm an Android developer, and this tool makes it extremely easy for me to run a few test calls on a RESTful API.

New Tab JumpStart

Rated 3 out of 5 stars

I was looking forward to this, but unfortunately it's too buggy (Ubuntu, Fx10) at the moment to use. Popular pages and thumbnails don't update at all, and I have various elements that I added to the page in error that can't be removed anymore. This add-on has potential, but hasn't gotten it down quite yet.

FoxToPhone

Rated 5 out of 5 stars

Works fantastically in conjunction with Chrome to Phone.

This review is for a previous version of the add-on (1.2.2.1-signed).

Siphon - Add-on Synchronizer

Brilliant add-on Rated 5 out of 5 stars

I love this add-on! It's working perfectly for the latest release of Firefox. Unfortunately it isn't working in the current Aurora (Fx10): "Could not locate add-on installer."

Session History Tree

Rated 5 out of 5 stars

This works amazingly in Firefox 4! Over the course of five minutes I've already found myself delighted to have this at my fingertips.

Mason

Rated 5 out of 5 stars

Brilliant, works perfectly! I was looking for an extension that would let me turn pages outputted as "Content-Type: text/html" to "application/json" so they would appear legibly in JSONView. I'm delighted with the result!

This review is for a previous version of the add-on (0.3.7.9.1-signed).

User Agent Switcher

Great add-on Rated 5 out of 5 stars

Integrates nicely into the Web Developer Toolbar, but can be placed in any toolbar. Works as advertised!

Lazarus: Form Recovery

Rated 5 out of 5 stars

I can't imagine browsing without this add-on. It's an absolute must!

For Firefox beta users, check out the latest development build at http://lazarus.interclue.com/download.

ImageTweak: zoom/rotate images and videos!

Rated 5 out of 5 stars

I instantly loved ImageTweak. This should be the default behavior in Firefox (as it is in Opera), and the additional options make it even better. No bloat, just a a simple, effective and absolute must-have add-on.

Firefox Sync for Firefox 3.5/3.6

Long way to go Rated 1 out of 5 stars

I can't even get it to install on a new installation here ("invalid file hash"), but after using it on another machine I was fairly disappointed after discovering that half the time data isn't synced. Do you really have to do it manually each and every time? And how about syncing credentials?

I suppose as an avid Xmarks user, I'm spoiled. I will be spending the $10-20/year on Xmarks if they decide to go freemium. Sign the pledge if you do, too: http://www.pledgebank.com/XmarksPremium

Lazarus: Form Recovery

Rated 5 out of 5 stars

This add-on has saved me from rage so often, that I feel guilty for not contributing. I can't live without this, but I love the new Firefox beta. The dilemma! The hypocrisy! How can I live with myself?!

This review is for a previous version of the add-on (2.0.5).

Open in Browser

Rated 5 out of 5 stars

This is so fundamental that it should really be built-in, as RD suggests above. Brilliant extension nonetheless.

This review is for a previous version of the add-on (1.7).

BarTab

Rated 5 out of 5 stars

This gives the edge over Chrome. I *love* this extension and I've been using it all of 20 minutes.

This review is for a previous version of the add-on (1.5.1).

Stop-or-Reload Button

Rated 1 out of 5 stars

I could not get this add-on to work under Fx 3.6. Perhaps it has to do with my customized toolbar, but the Stop and Reload buttons simply appeared next to each other with no altered behavior.

The add-on "Smart Stop/Reload" provided me with the desired functionality: https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/7401

Smart Stop/Reload

Rated 5 out of 5 stars

I especially love how the stop button briefly disables before turning in to the reload button, hence preventing the user from inadvertently reloading the page once it has completed loading.

Note that both the "stop" and "reload" buttons must be added to the toolbar in order for them to dynamically switch. (Which is actually quite nice.)

TryAgain

Rated 5 out of 5 stars

Works brilliantly, but not on the current 3.6 beta. This is always the first add-on I install!

This review is for a previous version of the add-on (3.2.0).

SmtpSwitch

Rated 2 out of 5 stars

I'm giving this more than one star because it has potential.

Nevertheless, I'm afraid I have to reiterate what previous commenters have said: it appears in the UI but doesn't appear to actually use the selected SMTP server.

I'm using Thunderbird/2.0.0.19 (20081209) without any other add-ons installed.

Additional functionality that would be nice: selecting a default SMTP server based upon WAN IP, or making it switch to another if the first fails.

Double-six: I'm very interested to see your improved code -- and contribute to improving it further.

This review is for a previous version of the add-on (0.0.2).

Launchy

Rated 5 out of 5 stars

Needs a little fixing up here and there, but with a custom XML file, this is a definite must-have extension. I love it and plan to contribute to its development.

This review is for a previous version of the add-on (4.2.0).
