Self-Destructing Cookies

Almost excellent Rated 4 out of 5 stars

It would be soo nice if it could co-exist with CookieKeeper :(

Toggle Personal Toolbar

Does what it saz! Rated 4 out of 5 stars

I like the idea. But imho compatibility with "Stay Open Menu" is a must.

Great! Rated 5 out of 5 stars

Works great!
Since 2.0 this extension is better then Omnibar because it handles suggestions the proper way.
(Otherwise they are very similar and I pick one that works with current aurora channel build)

[bug?] How do I multi-search? There is a "separator" char definable in options so I assume this should be possible?

Needs update Rated 4 out of 5 stars

Session restore is broken - protection/lock is only restored after tab is loaded :(

Browser View Plus (PlayLink)

You were victorius where others have fallen. Rated 5 out of 5 stars

Coz it works, and even with Firefox portable!

Private Tab

Instant "must-have"! Also ULTIMATE PORN MODE included ;) Rated 5 out of 5 stars

These days stumbling upon such Fx extension is like finding a golden-ass unicorn.
Most extensions I find are either "blah" or "hurray, another website-overlay" or "if only they fix..".

But Private Tab was the One I left in love in a long time. It already works, is useful, fun and, doesn't have a bug that no one else but You care about.

But waaait... here is where it gets better.

Remember that dusty feature called "Tab Candy" / "Tab Groups" introduced in Firefox 4.0?
How many people use it these days? How many even knows about it?

Nvm historical reasons, coz You might want to start using it now!

1) Put all Your porn in new Tab Group on private tabs.
2) Use hotkey " CTRL + ~ " to quickly switch between your normal & perv set of tabs
3) ???
4) Browse pr0n right under their noses without leaving a trace!

PS1 Set "extensions.privateTab.patchDownloads" to "false" so they won't see Your perv downloads.
Open private tab "about:downloads" to see them! ;)

PS2 Also works as Ultimate Boss Key!
(except that he's probably monitoring Your web traffic anyway)

Private Tab

bug800193? Rated 5 out of 5 stars

I have tested with 23.0a1 (2013-04-07) and it seems to work fine.
Is this info still valid? Because I rushed and complained to Moz guys and feels a bit stupid right now...

Sort Tabs Command

Greats could use more juice Rated 5 out of 5 stars

It really would be great if Sort Tabs Command become aware of existing tabs tree structure (see popular Tree Style Tab ext.) and be able to sort tabs within tree .."branches" instead of shredding it bits.

I'm a TST addict ;)

So, is it dead? Rated 4 out of 5 stars

Erik is certainly an active guy as a dev. But Scriptish hasn't received any updates over 7months, and v1.8 branch haven't even started, not to mention some bugs in latest firefox versions (GM_log).

What future?

"Pano toolbar" - ext. not yet released on AMO Rated 5 out of 5 stars

Please, please, please, please, please mr Teramako, could You redirect some effort to finish this?

I'm waiting for this one like crazy.
Please at least fix major bugs with closing/renaming groups..

Menu Editor

Please add "packing to" submenus! Rated 5 out of 5 stars

It's easy to clutter menus with extensions and ability to pack items into submenus is a feature I'm eagerly waiting for...

Addons in Urlbar

Needs small improvements.. Rated 4 out of 5 stars

There is no point in autohiding if the space isn't recovered.
Urls are still trimmed and cannot be displayed in area where 'hidden' icons are.

It would be great if autohide is togglable - if Add-on bar would be displayed the icons are always visible otherwise they autohide.

Great Rated 4 out of 5 stars

But in fullscreen all icons are gone :/

Pano vs TST: TST, Pano, TST, Pano, TST, Pano... Rated 5 out of 5 stars

I love Pano for it's all-tabs-groups view. It pushes a TON of usefulness into original Tab Candy idea. Even more with "Auto Group" is used along.

Pano is really an excellent idea that suffers one major "flaw" ;)
It cannot be efficiently used along other excellent extension: Tree Style Tabs (by Piro). Not because of conflict between them but because it would make little sense to display two, vertical "tabbars" at once, each with own feature set.

Don't get me wrong Pano is an excellent idea. It's just me, can't give up on tabs tree idea that easily ;)
If I wouldn't be so addicted to TST I would definitely be using Pano.

How the hell can I eat a cake and have a cake?

Well that is why I'm SO looking forward to "Pano Toolbar" release. It's a promising toy when using with any other tabbar extensions.

search with keyword and suggestions. Rated 4 out of 5 stars

Please make suggestions work with search engine from keyword (when typed) instead of currently selected engine!

Virtual Miracle 0.1

Noooooooooooooooooo... Rated 5 out of 5 stars

..Sex&RedTube will never be the same again. ;)
(seriously this was disturbing experience)

I propose to replace Adblocks controversial "non-intrusive ads" with "sinless christian ads" feature!

For all the good folks weeping on the death of "AdChange For AdblockPlus" extension (no longer maint.) this might provide You with working alternative.

Technically, as dev mentioned it's a pack that will install:
* Original, unmodified ABP 2.0.1
Can (auto)update to later version and pack still works.
* vmiracle.xpi core extension
I'ts not a trap :) Looking at code it's rather harmless ad image replacer.
And probably can be tweaked to users needs so I mentioned it in AdChange context.

Got my attention, got me puzzled, got me smiled, maybe cogitated for a while.
Absolutely 5 stars.

Cheers & a happy new Year!

Adblock Plus

downgrade? - not worth it. And all about that hell unleashed... Rated 4 out of 5 stars

* Many people here complain about "non-intrusive ads" feature.

I agree it's just crap. It's probably because, unlike standard subscription, it's hidden and receive special treatment all the explanation (https://adblockplus.org/en/acceptable-ads) looks cheap and unconvincing. More then that it's a very disturbing change.

Anyway since the feature can simply be DISABLED, so clinging to the old version for now is rather a bad move. If You "must" or just want to show Your disagreement, switch to Trueblock fork. Still better then downgrading.

* New UI bad?
Honestly I don't get it. It's better then the previous one.
I like the new subscriptions window - clear and functional. Separates user custom filters (can be grouped now) form 3rd party subscriptions.

And all the small options are still there : either moved to addons page (following latest fx trends) or available in plain old context menu - the one that pops out on button.

Plus there is that little tweak-extension called "Customizations for Adblock Plus" that allows some small UI tweakson https://adblockplus.org/customizations

Downgrade is not worth it.

Only / as many as -1 star for "non-intrusive ads" - mostly because I learned about this from some 3rd source (not reddit:) Despite that I really, really appreciate all the hard work Wladimir put into this ext .. for years (!) and the fact that ABP all the time is keeping the web clean for me. And yes it still does.

P.S. There is adblockplus.org support site where Your feedback can also be heard (even louder maybe). Just pointing out ;)

This review is for a previous version of the add-on (2.0.2).

Trueblock Plus

I like the *Iinitiative* itself. But nothing special shown yet. Rated 3 out of 5 stars

The major dis/advantages of this extension for the time being are:

+ raises awareness among ad blocking users about the shady "non-intrusive ads" initiative and manifest disagreement to the idea!

+ keep an open option for full ad blocking extension

- first release of Trueblock Plus changes only ONE LINE OF CODE (except ext. name and id).

- not all "non-intrusive ads" code was removed - although feature is properly disabled.

- No need to panic. Adblock's "non-intrusive ads" (still) feature can easily be disabled so keep running those orginal builds for now.

(review v1)

Huge pages fail. Rated 4 out of 5 stars

Will silently fail on large pages. Because Fx canvas has limits... but don't worry, all other extensions that doesn't rely on some plugin or binary code does ;)
