Back/Forward History Tweaks

Back to square one Rated 5 out of 5 stars

Upon updating to v46.0 (or 46.0.1 - I'm not quite sure), the history items number got messed up.
It works fine within the same session but when you restart the browser you only get the last 11.
Not 10, not 15 (which is the default value), 11.
Another incompatibility case with TabMixPlus? Who knows?
Very, VERY frustrating!
Firefox's developers are to blame of course.
This add-on would be redundant if only they allowed tweaking the item number through about:config.
If memory serves, it used to work that way in the past.

EDIT:
Never mind V@no, I found the culprit - It was "browser.sessionstore.max_serialize_back".
For some reason (Did I accidentally reset it? I don't think so) it went back to its default value, 10.
The moment I set it to "-1", the problem vanished :)

Back/Forward History Tweaks

Hallelujah! Rated 5 out of 5 stars

I've been waiting for this for years.
Literally, YEARS!
Just check the respective Firefox Support topic@MozillaZine: http://forums.mozillazine.org/viewtopic.php?f=38&t=2012225 and you'll get the picture...
Why the *official* Firefox Developers didn't even consider changing this is beyond me - especially when it's integral part in every other web browser...
So, hats off to you V@no, this little tweak of yours certainly deserves a 5★ rating!

And to all other users (currently 503) who have this add-on installed, a request if I may:
SPREAD THE WORD!
Maybe then it will become a built-in feature as it SHOULD rather than an extension.

This review is for a previous version of the add-on (1.1.1-signed).

Paste to Tab and Go

Incomplete/Lacks a few things Rated 3 out of 5 stars

Don't want to sound harsh, but the absence of a keyboard shortcut renders it useless.
Just count the steps you have to follow in order to load a URL.
Assuming you have already copied the link you must:
1. Move the cursor on one of the bars/tabs
2. Right click
3. Scroll down and pick it
4. Click again

Now if you would please indulge me and compare it with the -no longer supported- “Paste and Go 3” [https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/paste-and-go-3/]
*Your custom keyboard shortcut* [e.g Ctrl+Shift+v] = > Paste & Go - ONE STEP!
*Your custom keyboard shortcut* [e.g Ctrl+Shift+s] = > Paste & Search - ONE STEP!

When it comes to convenience, there is NO comparison as to which is better.
Unless of course you're one of those types who, in order to save a file, would rather move the mouse to File tab and pick Save instead of merely pressing Ctrl+S.
Until someone manages to create such an add-on, I'm sticking with the *modified* version of “Paste and Go 3 1.0.5”

Zulkarnain K., your efforts and time you've spent developing this plug-in are greatly appreciated, that goes without saying.
BUT, there's always room for improvement - Can/Will you add customizable keyboard shortcuts?

Thumb's up.

MinimizeToTray revived

Should have been built-in with FF, the *close to system tray* function is INDISPENSABLE.

Full Session History

Rated 1 out of 5 stars

It would be GREAT if it actually worked - but it doesn't
(at least not for me)
After installing it, the *recent pages dropdown list* disappeared completely!
