Version 4.4.1 works for me on:
Firefox 55.0.3 x64 on Windows 7x64
Firefox 55.0.3 x64 on Windows 10x64

Until this add-on and Tab mix plus can work on Firefox 57 I'm staying put.

Thanks for all the work.

Xmarks has been treated as the stepchild by LastPass. When will you make the LastPass extension available for Firefox Quantum? The company has not even acknowledged in a discoverable way that this is an issue or whether they're even addressing it.

This extension has saved me a number of times but it now...

I have two computers, both running Firefox R57 64bit. On one Xmarks continues to work and is not disabled, on the other it is disabled.

Please fix this soon otherwise we will all look for a substitute which I will be sad about as I have had (Fo)Xmarks and LastPass for many years and always had good service. And Please tell us when the fix will be available

Has been great up until the last FF upgrade. Now it isn't supported. If this isn't fixed in the next week, I'll be looking elsewhere

Hasn't been working with Firefox 56 on Mac for a couple of months. Thought 57 would help but NOT!!!

I was really enjoy x marks and last pass but for some reason x marks has stopped working since they updated to fire quantum. My question is how long before you update for the Firefox users. I know it does not affect any other browser but it would be nice to have news on your site as to what you are going to be doing. I would have given you 5 stars if you had updated the service.

Worthless if it doesn't support Firefox 57+

Guys, come on. You're owned by LastPass which in turn is owned by LogMeIn. You guys have the money so update to FF 57. If not, then you better just shut your doors and stop wasting eveybody's time.

i used it for years. it was perfect. now it stopped. at least on firefox. it keeps asking for login and when you leave your computer on over night it actually opens about a thousand dialogue windows which will eventually crash your computer. if you try to log in, nothing happens. it keeps opening new windows. this happens on Unix Mint as well as Windows 10.
shame. gone over to firefox sync for now. if this gets fixed, i will come back. i would even pay, it is that helpful.

Let's all calm down.

XMarks has given most of us YEARS of amazing, invaluable service for FREE, we paid nothing, zllch, nada. Please remember that.

And now a whole bunch of you are bleating because after a MAJOR upgrade of Firefox where everything has changed, i.e.,an event which is very difficult to deal with, and which has thrown a spanner in the works of half the Add-Ons in the Firefox universe, these very commendable and hard-working people who provide all this for free haven't immediately kept pace.

Didn't you hear that XMarks and LastPass are underfunded?

Don't you know that this stuff is difficult?

Jeez

I also have had major issues. Like others, the profiles have messed up all my bookmarks now. It WAS working fine on Chrome and now all the bookmarks are the same in the profile and when I try to fix the Firefox ones, no dice. I have to go through the setup wizard EVERY TIME I open Firefox after it has been closed. I sync the live bookmarks up to Xmarks and when they sync back down, it turns them to folders so I have to set them up over and over. I opened a ticket with Xmarks support and they suggest I install the previous version of the add-on. It didn't change anything. Same behavior. Pretty annoying and going to abandon Xmarks. Maybe the built in Firefox bookmark sync will work fine. We'll see. I have not had great experience with Xmarks/Lastpass support lately. They say try this...this...this...this and "we'll pass along the information to the support team". Blah blah blah. Whatev. I'm over it.

I also get pop up dialog continuously to enter Id/Password.
But my Firefox version is 50.0.2, not 57. Seems not compatility
issue to Firefox 57.

Xmarks is useless now as their tech support. I will give them a week , If doesn't work move from them. Any suggestion what is good?

Xmarks as a web extension (Firefox 57) is completely buggy.

In most of the cases, syncing does not work and ends up with some cryptic error messages or in the worst case with a browser that has to be killed. This goes for Windows 10 (Fall Creators installed) as well as for macOS (High Sierra).

Save your bookmarks as a file before using Xmarks!

With this new technology of web extensions: at the moment (november 2017) do not rely on Xmarks. Wait till a stable and reliable version is released.

I am particularly angry about the poor quality not only of the extension itself, but about the company that has not tested enough, that does not explain well the problems and about a support that does not care (yes, I am a paying user since Foxmarks/Xmarks exists).
