Usually a graet addon / with big problems recently! Rated 1 out of 5 stars

I'm collecting error massages like the one beneath at least half a dozen times per day. As soon as FF's Flash plugin is activated, TabGroupsManager seems to have major trouble saving the active session. This error is reproduced every time when TGM in conjunction with Flash causes a system and virtual memory shortage which triggers the browser to freeze so it must then be terminated manually from the process list.

Since there is no real alternative to both Flash and TGM either as a plugin for Firefox or any other browser, I stick up with this failures until something better and more reliable comes up. But I'm NOT HAPPY with it.

TGM needs better support from it's developers. That's a fact! But it also seems to me, that Mozilla doesn't pay enough attention to the browser's plugins architecture and compliance measures, - otherwise these errors wouldn't be lasting for so long.

So please, fix this!

I had a horrendous time with this add-on and had to Refresh Firefox to even get "Restore my tabs and windows from last time" to work again, even after uninstalling it.

Rated 1 out of 5 stars

probably it works in some other time laws = being restoring my tabs every time after crash successfully, but when i really needed to restore session manually, telling me "last same was 5 month ago!! wtf?! i'd wish i use some other addon or even external back-up tool.(

Worked Reliably Until Recently Rated 1 out of 5 stars

This plugin has worked reliably until recently, but now it's doing wacky things with my tabs, and it seems to be getting worse. Whenever I open Firefox, many of my tabs are missing, especially tabs with children. Unfortunately, the situation has gotten worse. Today when I tried restoring my tabs from a previously saved session, I can see the list of all my tabs within Session Manager's Load Session screen, but when I choose the option to Replace Session, it doesn't load the backup sessions. If I choose the option to Append to Current Window, then it opens a new window and correctly loads all tabs there. So definitely an issue. Will have to deactivate and come back to it in a month or so to see if there's been a fix.

I'm using Firefox 37.0.2; Session Manager 0.8.1.6.

Insulffisance ou dysfonctionnement ? Rated 4 out of 5 stars

this addon could cause popup click button unavailiable. it means you have to restart and close specific window manually. And another bug is every time you restart, always come with a blank window. What a waste. Please fix.

Broken in FF 37 Rated 1 out of 5 stars

This extremely useful add-on was broken by FF 37. Firefox no longer opens with tabs from last session even though I set it up to do so under Tools Options. Its shortcut on the FF tool bar is grayed out. To recover tabs each time I launch FF I have to go to Tools...Session Manager and select the appropriate session. In addition the Bookmarks Toolbar is no longer visible. This add-on would rate a 5 star rating without this problem.

Intemperate Language Rated 1 out of 5 stars

Re raycabiro's review - you may gets your rocks off with intemperate language, but most people read reviews for users' experiences to assist in making a decision. I have given a 1-star only because I haven't used it yet.

Great Tool! Rated 4 out of 5 stars

Only one cons - lot of data space used on drive for backuping, in my case 3,5GB. Will be nice to configure backuping in manner store every 5 minute in a day, old days automatically reduce stored sessions upto 10.

It has a good and a bad sides. Rated 3 out of 5 stars

Well, the first Firefox start has no tabs. I need to restart the browser to see all my tabs from the previous session. It's the only bug I've noticed.

Great! Rated 5 out of 5 stars

Absolutely great extension! Just a suggestion for a small and easy to implement improvement: it would be great to have an option to have the flag "Make this an auto-save session" checked by default in save session dialog. The feature to auto-save sessions instantly bought me, and I want pretty much all my sessions to be auto-saving, because I mostly use them as topics to read at a later time, and it makes sense to always update on browser shutdown which tabs i have read and closed and which new tabs i have opened, but I don't want to always keep in my head that I need to check that flag before I hit "Save session" button.

Serious Bug Rated 5 out of 5 stars

Dear Sir,

There is a serious bug in Session Manager.

By going into its options, we may choose a location where Session Manager saves its ".Session" file. I chose my "Desktop" as its default location.

Now when I try to clean my firefox browsing history (by pression Ctrl+Alt+Del), it gives an option to delete "Session Manager Saved Sessions" also. If I choose this option and clear firefox browser history, all the other items on Desktop are also deleted.

It appears, that if I try to clear firefox history by choosing to clean the Sessions as well, as the contents of the folder where .SESSION file is supposed to be saved, are deleted too.

Please look into the matter. It is a very serious bug.

Session Manager makes the life easier Rated 5 out of 5 stars

Dear Herr Kraft,
Thanks for the Session Manager. It works well so far and makes my life easier. I have a defective contact at my computer and the program saves my tabs automatically and frequently. It is absolutely reliable.
Since I shutdown the computer overnight because of some unsafe self-repaired damages on computer and since I am usually not done with a long literature research at this time, I like the function to save a full session.
Thanks for making it totally uncomplicated to use.
Good Job! Have a nice day!
Best Regards
Mauta

LOve it but... Rated 5 out of 5 stars

suddenly it no longer appears in my toolbar or in my tools menu.

OK had to go into advanced and uncheck the options to display and apply and then check them again and apply and then close and reopen browser. Maybe a FF fault?
