Not working with Orcon in NZ Rated 4 out of 5 stars

About 10 days ago the program stopped working with Orcon. All I get is the white cross and ISP error occurred - 404 not found.
Otherwise the program has worked flawlessly for years

Up until recently this add-on has worked like a charm. Unfortunately our ISP (TelstraclearNZ) has changed something and now the definitions need updating. If it weren't for this glitch I'd gladly give 5 stars. I'm hoping someone, somewhere can provide an update.

Have been using this addon for years and it's very good (even doanted once or twice. :) ). Since I swicthed to Telstra NBN a couple of weeks ago it no longer works. My login details are the same as before. Hope you can get this sorted out soon. Thanks for all your work.

Worked perfectly until I switched to NBN in Australia. Clearly, the new system is no longer providing information to the extension. A shame, as it was working perfectly. Here's hoping it can be updated (iPrimus on NBN). 5 stars for excellent, recommended extension/add-on.

Very good work.

Simply Brilliant! Rated 5 out of 5 stars

Unpretentious, simple interface & stable.

One simple click to update a simple, yet very informative, progress widget - 99.9% of the time. If it failed to fetch (rare) just click it again. Can also be configured for auto update.

Developer has since made 4 more themes available. The default is cool but I find the "Classic" easier to read (data - days - %).

Well done!

(Using it for Optus mobile broadband for >2 months)

Fantastic Rated 5 out of 5 stars

Love this add on! but unfortunately it doesn't seem to have been working with OptusNet recently.

Bigpond Rated 4 out of 5 stars

Great add-on although it hasn't worked with Telstra Bigpond in Australia for a month now.

So Useful! Rated 4 out of 5 stars

Really like this add-on. Have been using it for a while and it really helps to keep an eye on the limited bandwidth I've got. Works 90% of the time. Would be nice to have more theme options though.

Update for Belgacom Belgium Rated 3 out of 5 stars

hello please Update for Belgacom Belgium.
Thank you

A useful add-on Rated 3 out of 5 stars

This add-on gets Internet usage information from a customer's ISP. It supports a wide range of ISPs. It's easy to configure, non-intrusive, and it used to work well. The meter itself is easy and clear to read and work with. This add-on was quite good. Unfortunately, it now appears to be abandoned; some ISPs have been broken for a long time. Contacting the developer has yielded no response.

Works really well, should have compatibility Rated 4 out of 5 stars

This addon works very well for displaying quick information about your ISP's net usage!
If you are able to understand how it parses the webpages, you can even add a new ISP to the list.
The one drawback is that the author doesn't submit the newest versions to AMO, forcing people to go to an external website and get a version which has not been reviewed. This also means the version on AMO is often incompatible with the latest version of firefox (as is the case now).

I still cannot believe it does not support Australian ISP "Escapenet" even though it supports many other small isp's.
I have previously used this addon when I had TPG and it worked very well.

Net Usage Item is a TOP Firefox add-on Rated 5 out of 5 stars

I agree totally with all the other very positive reviews. Net Usage Item is an excellent Mozilla Firefox add-on, doing all that you need in an attractive and elegant way.

I've been using it for several years, and it's one of the first add-ons that I install whenever I do a fresh install of Firefox.

It breaks occasionally, typically not Critter's fault but when an ISP changes something that causes a parsing error, as seems to have happened with Optusnet Cable in the last day or so. It was working unobtrusivey for months. then a day or two ago suddenly started giving "S6" parsing errors (with latest add-on version 1.2.331), so I sent off the debug text file to Critter and hope he will adjust the parser soon.

NZ ISPs missing from latest update Rated 3 out of 5 stars

In the latest version (updated for FF6), the NZ ISP's have disappeared from the list. How do I get the NZ ISPs back in the list? Or does this needs to be updated?

Simple & Perfect Rated 5 out of 5 stars

It's just so damn simple and so damn perfect. Almost certainly the best "basic" usage meter in existence. Even better now Exetel have fixed their XML and I can use it again.

Loving this *great* addon. Having my ISP Usage right there on my browser is really fantatic!Stopped working today though (Error Parsing (s2)) for Videotron Canada. Been working flawlessly the the last few months (since I started using it). I think they might have changed their Usage Page though. Using the right-click menu "Visit ISP Usage Page" works well.

.... downloaded the latest version from website (which includes my country/ISP without requiring the extension) and I get the same error.

Net Usage Item doesn't work in Firefox 4.0.1 (despite updating to the latest version) - on a Windows 7 system. The bar displays, but does not update (so the usgae displayed is incorrect). PLEASE fix it.
