Why was ImageTweak: zoom/rotate images and videos! created?
I created ImageTweak mainly because the way all browsers display standalone images is awful. I'm pretty passionate about photography, and it sucked not being able to appreciate a darkish shoot because pretty much the rest of the window was white. Originally, ImageTweak was meant just to change the background color of the window, but soon evolved and gained other tricks meant to make my life easier while viewing images. Apparently, many others felt the same, and the rest is history.
What's next for ImageTweak: zoom/rotate images and videos!
You can see what's being worked on (in the few spare times I have) on the official ImageTweak thread (http://forums.mozillazine.org/viewtopic.php?p=3247649), on the official web page (http://cafxx.strayorange.com/ImageTweak) or on my blog (http://www.strayorange.com/blog/tag/imagetweak).
