Scammy title Rated 1 out of 5 stars

Either this is a fake add on pretending to be Fireshot, or they are spamming keywords and fake stars into their name. Either way, I can't support it.

Beware - Astroturfer! Rated 1 out of 5 stars

My review was deleted (find it below).

Because he is one of this astroturfing scum whose gain is to
promote a commercial "pro" version of the plugin.

Thus why you find only 4 critical "alibi reviews" here but
plenty of selfpampering crap to keep his 5 star rating up.

Reported you and will post my schrrenshots else and
higher up until someone at Mozilla takes action, you disgusting freeloader!

System: Win 10 Home, Firefox 48.2.

What I've got:
"Error: couldn't open library sss.dll: error 126. In most cases,
disabling the anti-virus software or FireShot reinstall helps."

Gave it a chance despite these silly 5 hearts and far too
much positive comments which keeps the rating at 5 stars.
This overkill of clappers suggests kind of astroturfing.

Also, a Five-starer who suggest to disable virus protection
is either careless or incompetent or both and does not
deserve one at all.

Doubt this comment will survive, will take a screenshot just in case.

A must-have - this add-on makes collaboration an easy-peasy task!

Helped me in many ways. Rated 5 out of 5 stars

This can save sites as lightweight pdf files or png image files.
And the image can be trimmed.
These processes are done fast and easily.

The best thing for me is that I don't have to open IE or use other add-ons to save heavy mht files any more!

FireShot is a Perfect App for me.

So easy Rated 5 out of 5 stars

There are a lot of choices of what you want to save (as an image) -- entire page, selection, visible area, etc.

Apparently, after you make that choice, that will be your default choice every time you open Fireshot, unless you choose a different option.

I chose "Capture Entire Page" and "Copy to Clipboard." And that has become my default choice, at the top of Fireshot's pull-down menu. That's what I needed the last few times I used Fireshot, and it couldn't have been easier.

On a couple of occasions, there were fields of text on the webpage that I wanted to copy. The fields had a scroll bar, but Fireshot captured everything in those fields. That's good. It's almost worth capturing the page as an image and reading everything in Paint, just to get rid of the scroll bars.

I guess if you choose "Capture Visible Area," it won't capture everything inside the scroll bars. But I selected "Capture Entire Page," so it got everything. Thanks.

After capturing, there are a dozen choices of what you want to do. Copy to Clipboard, Edit, Print, Save..., Save as PDF(!). I always Copy to Clipboard, then I open Paint, Paste from the clipboard into Paint, and save as a file from Paint.

Pasting the clipboard into Paint is the big payoff for me, when I can see how Fireshot captured what I wanted. So easy.
