Easiest way to read Epub Rated 4 out of 5 stars

I really like it, the only thing is, I can't control all the text colors. Some of the text in the book I'm reading is dark blue, and i can't change it to a light color that's easier to read on a black background. It would also be nice if there were color pre-sets, like 'low light mode' or other matching color presets.

Only one other add-on or standalone app matches this, and that's Cool Reader [not new 2015 version tho]. I'd prefer it to CoolReader save that EPUBreader seems to lack a next-chapter and/or table of contents feature.
With so many flawed add-ons it's nice to find one that actually delivers what it claims.

A perfect addon.
There is no other available addon now which allows to read epub files within firefox.

Wonderful Rated 5 out of 5 stars

The most perfectest addon. Just keep it updated for new firefoxi and that'll do pig.

Good, but needs search Rated 4 out of 5 stars

If you could search inside the book, this epub-reader would be perfect for my use.

A big plus is that you can copy selected test, which other epub-readers may not let you do.

Useful and Exactly What I Needed. Rated 5 out of 5 stars

I was able to the read the epub file and even copy text from it. The layout of the app is ideal. You can jump to any chapter, bookmark a section, change the text size, and page layout. There are even more type and color options if you're picky about it.

The only thing that would have been nice if it had a file converter, to save it as a pdf if I needed it. A search function would be nice too. But, overall, it was perfect.

Thank you epubreader :)

Fantastic tool, tiny download, tiny footprint, easy to initiate/use... it just works straight out of the box :)

Options? Rated 4 out of 5 stars

This is a nice add-on, however I dislike that it automatically open any .epub file I'd like to save / download. Is there any option / setting to set the add-on so that I only use it to read when I want it and not everytime take over an epub I'd like to DL? Thanks before!

This is an excellent extension, but I have a suggestion for this. First, this extension should display the location of epub file on the location bar, then I require for adding Firefox for Android support.

Useful add-on. But lacks many minor features. Like, it does not show the page number or does not provide any other way to show the reading progress -- it's very uncomfortable. By deIt does not remember where you were reading, you have bookmarks for that (and this use of the term 'bookmark' contradicts most other applications). You can't search a string through the whole text of a book or your library. The adjustments are hidden to deeply and are difficult to be found. You cannot edit the book data, so you cannot do anyrhing to make them more uniform (e.g. you have to deal with 'W. Shakespeare' and 'Shakespeare, William' treated as different authors, or cannot arrange the book titles within a series).

Excellent browser based e-reader!!! Rated 5 out of 5 stars

Great extension! Quickly becoming one I make sure is on every computer I use FF on. I read quite a bit and having this makes reading books on line SO much easier. I made sure my Mom, and the other readers I know who use FF, also know about this extension. I made sure my son's laptop had this because he & I have a habit of reading the same books. He's as insatiable a reader as I was at his age, if not more so. This extension makes reading easier on all of us! It's sad when you tell your child you're going to take away TV privileges if his grades go down and he shrugs and says, "So what, I'll read." He knows we are unlikely to take reading away as most parents have to make their kids read. He even got in trouble in school for reading, the teacher hated to discourage it in fact but he was reading fun stuff and not listening in class.

My only suggestion or wish is small. On the ePub-Catalog page (about:epubcatalog) it displays a table with the headings of: Title, Author, & Added along with buttons for Info, Tag, Save & Delete. This is where my thought came up. It would be nice when a user has a lot of books in their catalog to be able to select more than one book to tag or delete at the same time. I run into this more with adding tags than when I delete books but it would still be nice. One other would be the ability to easily edit the book's info as many books do not have the correct info. I have a number of books that are missing the title and that the author shows either incorrectly or unknown. If I were able to edit the book's info, I could fix that problem. It's not always easy to find a book you're looking for when the information is missing. I end up using the time I could be reading while searching for a certain book. Although tagging books does certainly make it much less time consuming.

Best out there under Ubuntu Rated 5 out of 5 stars

Best ePub format reader I have found for Ubuntu. Everything looks right and the text flows perfectly. I wish it supported the mouse scroll wheel.

Essential Rated 5 out of 5 stars

I give this a perfect score of five stars. And though I personally prefer to read eBooks on 'real' physical eReaders, I feel that this add-on works far better than any other eBook reader software out there and is my go-to eBook reader software when viewing eBooks on desktops, laptops, netbooks, tablets, etc. However, sadly, I currently can't use this with my primary browser Pale Moon (a custom-built Firefox-based browser)—it simply won't load ePubs and presents you with an error message when trying to open ePubs.

Could an update be made for it to work with Pale Moon? Pale Moon has lots of users (not as many as Firefox, of course, but I believe the userbase numbers in the millions). If this could be done, it would make me, and many others, happy as this is a popular, well-liked, essential add-on.

Thanks. And keep up the great work, epubreader (the developer of this add-on)!

Supporting enhanced epub ebooks Rated 5 out of 5 stars

Rated 2 out of 5 stars

Secondo me ci sono alcuni punti critici:
1) il programma si attiva automaticamente quando si scarica un file Epub, senza dare libertà all'utente di decidere se usarlo o meno
2) manca la funzione di ricerca in tutto l'ebook e questo è molto scomodo. Ad esempio, io scarico molti libri di ricette e mi piacerebbe vedere in quali pagine è menzionato un certo ingrediente (per esempio tutte le ricette colla parola "pomodoro") ma questo software, purtroppo, al massimo trova la parola nella pagina che è in lettura.
