Why was Classic Default created?
I always liked the classic Netscape look. It brings back a lot of memories, the time I first ordered something online, or watched a small video clip on realplayer, stuff like that.
I was really surprised when I found out they replaced it with fairly uninspired look when they released SeaMonkey 2.0. I know most new users like that look more than the classic Netscape one, but I know there are a lot of die-hard fans who still wish they could use Netscape 4.x.
What's next for Classic Default
I am really busy these days, but when I get some free time, I plan to make it more compatible with Mac OS X, fix visual glitches. Or maybe even re-write it from scratch to make it much more stable and compatible with the latest SeaMonkey releases.
