SPYWARE -- DO NOT INSTALL -- YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED.

After sending an email to the author, giving them a chance to deny that this extension is Spyway and them not responding, I am willing to proclaim that this extension IS SPYWARE.

Anyone can confirm this for themselves as this author does not try to hide it, in fact they have links on their site that send you to pages that are trying to sell the same SPYWARE to others.

DO NOT USE THIS EXTENSION UNLESS YOU DO NOT CARE IF YOUR EVERY MOVE IS BEING MONITORED AND SOLD TO WHO KNOWS WHAT UNSCRUPULOUS INDIVIDUALS/COMPANIES WITH NO REGARD TO YOUR PRIVACY.

Auto-Sort Bookmarks

This goes into the must have add-on directory. Rated 5 out of 5 stars

I am currently running Firefox v25.0 (FF) and Auto-Sort Bookmarks v2.1 (ASB).

I finally became frustrated just enough with FF's inadequate bookmarking and the tedious sorting that was heavily manual that I decided to give ASB a go round. I have tested all of the bells and whistles that it currently offers and have found nothing less than a perfectly operating as advertised FF Add-on.

There are enough options so I was able to select and tweak my bookmarks until I found the exact sort order that suited my needs. I also tested each of the existing options and found that they all performed as I expected them to function.

I am certainly not a sort-order guru that needs to sort my bookmarks in the way I would perhaps need to sort a spreadsheet on a number of columns, but if I was, ASB would let me do that too.

ASB is very nicely documented in English in a way that mere mortals like myself can understand--no programming or rocket science expertise to understand the docco. If you want to tweak the add-on to the max and you find you have a question, it is probably answered in the docco.

Give it a try, it works very nicely! The add-on seems like it was very well thought out from implementation all the way through documentation. I will probably never disable this add-on because it serves too useful a purpose that I've always wanted to have in FF but never did until now.

Kudos to the developer for sharing this very useful (no-restart required) add-on, I certainly appreciate it and I am sure that each and every one of the more than 22,000 users do too!

Page Portal

Great freah idea for an add-on! No more new and immediately dismissed tabs with this add-on here to step in! Rated 5 out of 5 stars

This is so much better than opening a new tab in order to just get a small piece of information and then closing the tab immediately. It's one of those add-ons that come along and makes me wonder why somebody didn't come up with that sooner because it now seems so obvious that it belongs. Eric Vold has the certainly got to be a creative man to have come up with something so fresh and unique as this add-on! Being that this is version 0.1 I feel lucky to have found it at it's early stage and with it being v0.1, that means that there is probably going to be quite a lot of additional features added to it over time. Hopefully the development of Page Portal will continue well into the future, I think that it has the potential to become a very popular add-on that will land in many peoples 'must have' xpi bin! Hopefully resizing the panels is on the to do list for this puppy!

Add to TreeDBNotes

Causes major issues with Session Manager and Tab Mix Plus and... Rated 1 out of 5 stars

This add-on is NOT READY for distribution to the general public. I would advise against installing this add-on because it causes the following problems: Session Manager becomes inoperable; and Tab Mix Plus becomes inoperable. Upon restarting, no tabs from previous session come back (Session Manager becomes inoperable). All of the context menu items from Tab Mix Plus disappear (Tab Mix Plus becomes inoperable). There may be other issues going on that I am not immediately seeing but these are definitely being caused by this add-on. I re-installed thrice and I disabled / re-enabled many multiples of times, each time I disabled this add-on, Firefox restarted to it's normal self. Then if I re-enabled this add-on, Firefox lost much functionality as described above. Rebooted for good measure before the third re-installation but that had no visible effect. My system is running TreeDBNotes 4.34 Pro -|||- Firefox 23 -|||- Windows 8 x64 -|||- Intel(R) Core(TM) i7-3770 CPU @ 3.40GHz -|||- 32GB RAM.

SearchWith

Come one, come all, SearchWith is for you! Rated 5 out of 5 stars

Before I found SearchWith I was wasting my time navigating to all of the different sites that I frequent whether they be for research, shopping, pictures, videos, etc. I was typing and mousing way too much. Now that I have SearchWith and I've added all of the sites that I typically perform searches on, I am able to perform those searches by simply highlighting text that I am interested in, pull down my context menu and search the site I choose. If I find that I am searching sites that are not in my list of searchable sites, I simply add it to SearchWith and in about 60 seconds it's in my list and I am searching the new site.

You don't even have to have any text highlighted and you can still bring up your favorite searched sites via the context menu, so that you can then search for something that is not on the current page but is in your thoughts--brilliant!

The addon is very easy to configure by adding your own sites to the search list and removing sites in the list that you no longer want there. Now that I've used SearchWith, I am not sure how I could really get along without it. It really is that good! Install this puppy and I highly doubt that you will ever want to remove it but if you do, it easily and cleanly removes itself--save your searches first!

Most of all, have phun!

Thanks to the developer(s) for this wonderful, must have addon!

Print Edit

HP must hate it because it saves so much expensive printer ink! Rated 5 out of 5 stars

I love this add-on, it kicks some serious behind and lowers my printer's ink cost greatly. Not to mention all of the trees that this add-on will save. Not many add-ons can have this great an impact on personal finances and the environment--for these reasons I'm calling this my hands down favorite add-on for Firefox. Kudos to the author!

HideTab

Works 100% in v11.0 Rated 5 out of 5 stars

FIVE STARS! I first met this addon in an infantile version many moons ago when all it really did was hide a single tab, one at a time and that was pretty much it. Kudos to the developer (who goes by the name of diegoratt) for diving head first into this addon and making it compatible with FF 11.0.

I noticed that another FF 11.0 user wrote a review about this addon not working, I can only guess that s/he has another addon that is conflicting with this one. As I said above, this addon is working 100% for me under FF v11.0.

I highly recommend this addon and have rated it five stars after deliberate stress-testing of all functionality.

Copy As Plain Text

Thanks for rescuing this addon from the other author who abandoned it! It's doing exactly what it's title indicates so I'm giving this a FIVE STAR RATING!

Adware delivery vehicle, nothing more worth mentioning Rated 1 out of 5 stars

Trust once lost is gone forever and that is what has happened to this author. When I read his 'Note' after the Firefox Community called him on his deceptive behavior (did he really think we wouldn't know) "This version is as clean as the old versions." well that in itself is completely suspect, I am going to be creating a clean VM and installing the older versions to see exactly what this author may have been mucking with back in the days when the FF Community actually trusted him. Anyone that says that this is no big deal and it's easy to work around is either the author or obviously hasn't been with FF since the beginning nor does he understand why FF was created in the first place.

The Tracktor - Amazon Price Tracker

Best new addon of 2010 Rated 5 out of 5 stars

This is one of those addons that makes me wonder how I got along without it before! Very seldom am I enthusiastic and excited about an addon but this one is different. This addon does the one thing that I am always happy to and that is me save money!

The person/persons behind this addon have obviously spent some time thinking about what features that they would want in an Amazon price tracking addon and they've included them all in Tracktor. The addon looks more like an advanced version than a 1.0x version--that doesn't happen often. It is so very well behaved within Amazon that the code injection looks so natural from it's placement, to its colors, to its functionality --it all just fits so seamlessly that if one didn't know about the addon, one could easily mistake it for an advanced feature of Amazon. As far as I can tell, Tracktor stores its data on the authors server and that is a very kind thing indeed. I hope that it doesn't get too expensive to store the data as this addon gets more and more exposure, and it will get more and more exposure, I'd bet on that.

Kudos to the developer(s) for selflessly providing this excellent, 5 star addon. Tracktor is the best looking, most useful, most well behaved addon that I've installed all year.

Follow That Page

Worse than any update tracker I've seen Rated 1 out of 5 stars

Pay for something this simple, that doesn't work as well as most of the update trackers that are free? NOPE NOT ME. Shucks it's been like two years since he was 'working' on this paid feature, if I ever want to pay for something like this, I want there to be better updates than say every three or four years...Kerplunk.

Scroogle SSL search

Rated 5 out of 5 stars

Par excellence! The must have search engine add on.

BTW great response (That wasn't obvious to everyone?) to the dweeb that ranked the addon a 2 because she didn't know if she could trust scroogle! That ranking was the lamest sh|t I've seen all year.
